Cookie Run Kingdom Custard Cookie Novels & Stories

She was about five foot five or so and had shoulder length red hair. “Yes,” I looked to her nametag, “Heather, I was hoping for some macarons? I got some from an acquaintance and he said he got them from here.” “Oh, those were the special last week. Each week there there is a specialty item with a discount. This time; it’s our delicious fudge brownies, any of our flavors.” She gestured to the case, indicating the selection they had. There were only about four slices of each flavor; walnut, plain, and turtle.

Without demanding proof. “Thank you,” I whispered. “I always knew someone had framed me. But I never imagined the hatred toward me had grown so deep. I still don’t know who did it, or why.” Princess Elara placed a comforting hand on my shoulder before changing the subject. She was standing beside a marble counter, carefully mixing flour inside a silver bowl. “I’ve been trying to make Moon Butter Cookies,” she said with an embarrassed laugh. “My mother makes the best in the kingdom. No matter how hard I try, they never taste the same.”

“Mr. King absolutely loves my cooking.” Adrian nodded profusely. “Yes! The beef was awesome. I’ve never tried nutty beef, but it was amazing!” “Now, Taylor, don’t forget about the cookies,” Adrian reminded. Inner Devil: ‘Told you it was about the cookies.’ Guardian Angel: ‘Maybe a little of both?’ “Yeah. I made those, especially for Mr. King,” Taylor said with a wide grin. Riley motioned toward the dessert tray, pointing at the pistachio chocolate cookies. “These are all for Adrian?”

"Holy crap." "Just wait." I rub my hands together and sit up in my chair. The Cookie is a giant chocolate chip warm cookie with chunks of Reese's peanut butter cups baked in. It's served in a small cast iron skillet topped with a scoop each of vanilla and peanut butter ice cream. And if that wasn't enough, chopped peanuts, more Reese's, and drizzles of hot fudge cover the deliciousness. The rest of the desserts don't even matter as we pick up our spoons and dive in.

A bloody Christmas had just started. The Kitchen Karmina was busy making organic cookies and biscuits for babies that would last for a month. She had heard that Violet would visit after her mission and wanted to make cookies for Kal, who loved to eat. Instead of sugar, she used honey. "How is it?" Karmina asked Henry as he tasted one. "It melts in my mouth, dear. Perfect for babies." "I will also give some to the Princess," she said. "Princess who?" Henry asked, taking another piece.

"You literally walked the other way when you saw her in the corridor yesterday and you hate passing there." "I was in a hurry." "It's a lie." Arden bit into the cookie with far more aggression than the baked good deserved. It was excellent, warm, crunchy, with chunks of chocolate that melted on his tongue. Hazel had chosen well. He ate the second cookie. Then the third, fourth, fifth. Caden watched him, arms crossed. "You are eating my cookies, my sweat, I walked for it." "They are castle cookies, you could go get some in the kitchen."

Unlike other contestants, I had made the dessert first and let it cool till the end instead of racing against time to make a sub-par dessert. “What is that conical yellow ice-cream in weird scented noodle water? I have never seen this before,” the royal chef asked when I presented my tray for submission. He was labelling everyone’s dishes and checking for violations of the culinary contest’s rules. Only 10 contestants would go to the next round before the finale where the King of Kings would choose his Luna. “This is a special dessert I mastered from my grandmother, Sir. It is called Kulfi-Falooda,” I replied with a respectful bow.

King Timodore said then he faced Noema. “My daughter Noema, let us play, cover Daddy with a glass shield and yourself then we will search for the serpent. Whoever got first will win Queen Mother’s oh-so-tasty baked cookies. Are you ready for our game?” Noema smiled so sweetly. Oh, she loves her Queen Mothers' delicious cookies. “You bet father, I will win. Let me do your request then.” Noema closed her eyes and playfully put a glass around her father and herself. When she opened her eyes, she gave her father a thumb sign.

“Let’s go before she drags us there by force.” We end up at a little neon-lit shop on the corner, sticky floors and rainbow sprinkles everywhere. Kenzie orders something violently pink with gummy worms sticking out. Claire gets mint chocolate chip, Aaron orders plain vanilla—of course he does—and I go for cookies and cream, which immediately wins me “coolest grown-up” status with Kenzie.

Carmen takes one more sniff before finishing, “some kind of peanut butter and chocolate cookie.” Karamea lifts the cloche and everything is exactly as Carmen said, down to the garlic butter coating the steak. “Holy, shit!” I stare at Carmen in amazement. She smirks at me and comes over to grab her tray. “Every damn time,” Karamea says, shaking her head. “What are these cookies?” “Buckeyes. Big thing around here,” I reply, grabbing my tray as well. We sit at the coffee table in front of the TV in the guest room. Conversation starts a little slow as we are consumed by the amazing food in front of us. But eventually we break the silence, getting to know each other.
