"That is correct, our pack's name is 'The Aegions'… It is of Greek origin, and it makes reference to the immortality that the Goddess Athena had with a special mythical clothe cover," She chuckled then shrugged. "Each pack has a name that is related to a place or what is most important to them… Some call themselves 'Sun Seekers,' 'Crescent Moon' or 'Bone Breakers,' it all depends on what they want to reflect upon themselves," She said with a small smile. "Most just recognize us by 'Rowen's pack,' which is our Alpha's last name." I nodded then waited some seconds before I asked something else. "Are they in great danger?" I asked a

First we would be starting with the name. “I was thinking what name should we name the pack?” I asked Tobias in our new private jet. “Hmmm, it should be a compromise of Snow Moon and Waterfall names,” Tobias reasoned. “Yes, what do you think of Snowmoonwaterfall pack?” I asked and he shot me an incredulous look. “Okay the look on your face tells me it's awful, what about…,” I voice trailed into thought. “Aha! Snowfall,” I said as he shook his head, “please no.”

Logan looks at me like I just got an answer right to a question I didn’t know he was asking. “Because Úlfur is our pack name. The Alpha takes the pack name as their last name, always. It makes genealogy difficult but it’s tradition now. Now that records are better, it’s easier to tell who had a takeover and who’s been in power for generations. Naming the company after our pack is a call to let other wolf shifters know that we can handle their business discreetly. You could call it a code word.” I stare at him, fascinated. There must be a whole society here that I’m just learning has existed outside of human society and knowledge for hundreds of years. He kisses me on the nose like I’m being

She tilted her head to look up at him. "Lupo? He has a name?" "I gave him one. Lupo is Italian for wolf. And he should have a name, don't you think?" "Oh. Well. I guess I hadn't thought about it but sure." She ran her hand over the statue's pelt and Mike was sure he could feel that hand on him. "Hello, Lupo. Are you going to protect me while Mike takes care of his business?"

That is why the werewolves in the pack shortened it. A werewolf in the Krunn Pack, for example, would say he was from Krunn and the Seven Packs, and the same would go from a werewolf from Bronze.
