I started, quietly reprimanding the wolves that had just spoken and I guess he got the gist because he bowed his head slowly in shame. "As I was saying, I would love to keep things that way and secondly, i noticed that this pack doesn't have an actual name yet, well, it's time for some changes to be made. This pack would now be called from this day on ward, "The Black Alder Pack!." I stated and everyone cheered in happiness. As I proclaimed the new name of the pack, I noticed some weird reactions from Petal within. She just closed her eyes as the star on her head beamed, it just felt like she was communicating with nature itself.

– Black says. - My father said that when a group of wolves unites under an alpha and together create a pack and give it a name, or rename it, the bond that is created between all the members releases a warning, which all the alphas in the world hear. – River says. - why do you ask? - Because it seems like there's no way to stop the pack from changing its name on its own, and if it's as River says, the alpha of alphas will immediately know that the Goldem Pack is back.

Their defeat wouldn't be enough for her though—she wanted them completely destroyed. That said, Belinda didn't have what it took to go up against the Chicago Werewolf Pack. Packs were named after the territory they resided in, and the pack controlling the city of Chicago was known to be the biggest, strongest, and richest in the entire country. Only one was more powerful—the Lycan. But very few had ever seen him.

Our love was too strong to be denied by anyone, not Menelik, nor his evil father, Alpha Barak, nor the terrible monsters in the woods. Along the way, we encountered vulnerable werewolves, who have been forced to leave their respective packs, because of circumstances similar to ours, and with them, we established, a new Pack, where we can all co-exist openly and freely. Together with Santan and Melinda, and the other wolves, we established a pack, of rogues and outcasts, who all wanted to be loved and accepted, and have a new place to call their home. Malik named the pack, the Mountain Dew pack, and he became the Alpha, and I, his Luna. Santan was named the Beta.

I knew that it would be a hard subject for her, so I intended to interject, but before I could she responded to him. "My dad always said that a wolf's name is sacred & should only be shared be shared with those you completely trust... he used to tell me this story to prove his point. He said that in the early 1900s there was an incredibly strong pack called the Ittobee. It was a warrior pack, & that the pack was so strong that other packs were envious of their strength. Apparently because all of the members of this pack were so strong, they often mated into the Royal Warrior pack, or The Royal Timekeeper pack. Well a young mid-ranked girl ended up mated to a Beta of an envious pack. Her mate

"So there's the White Howling Tail Pack - their Alpha, Jave; the Night Whispers Pack - their Alpha, Saul; the Blue Howlers Pack - their Alpha, Edgar; the Red Night Pack - their Alpha, Wesley; the Moon Paw Pack - their Alpha, Abe." At the mention of my old pack, my mouth fell into a grim line. I felt a squeeze in my hand and looked up to see Cole smiling down. Then, he faced forward and continued. "Lastly, the Silver Claw Pack. Oscar is their Alpha." His voice fell low as he added, "He's the most dangerous out of the six. The three wolves you met are likely his informants." A familiar shiver crept up my spine. I heard it in my voice as I whispered. "So they are with Oscar?" My eyes shot up at

His wolf was a red wolf. King looked at the rest of his friends around the table. Fannar Agdluak was the alpha of the Frost Peaks pack. Just like Articus, he had white hair. His eyes were the clear gray of ice, and his personality was as cold as his eyes. Fannar was nicknamed the Yeti because his white wolf could so easily blend in with the snow and would never be spotted. He was six foot seven and his pack lived up in the cold mountains.

Dad remarks, “He’s right, it’s only three more days. Have you thought about what you want to name your pack?” Maddox nods his head, “A little. I thought it would be best if I did something kind of similar to the Lightning Pack that way other packs will know that there’s no bad blood between us and that we’re still aligned. I was thinking the Thunderbolt Pack would be good.” I can’t help but nod my head in agreement and grin as I say, “I think that’s smart, Maddox.” Dad agrees with me and then continues with our morning meeting. There’s a light knock on the door and I watch as a young woman comes in. My heart stops for a moment and my wolf stirs inside me.

“You may have noticed the difference in the names our wolves go by. Our research has shown the older the male wolf, the more their name relates to nature. Rocky, Avalanche, Canyon, River. Old female wolf names are the same but floral related. Lavender, Lily, Poppy, Pansy. Those wolves were never meant to be warriors. They were guardians of nature, wild and unharnessed, with a few exceptions. Younger wolf spirits are guards and warriors. Their names lend to their positions. Saint, Ghost, Crusher, Slayer.
