Copycat barked at me, manic eyes boring holes into me as my fist grabbed at his shirt. Copycat didn't try to fight back. Instead a sadistic smirk joined the crazy eyes. He looked like a demon as he spoke his next words. "Hello brother."

I returned to my office, made myself a cup of coffee, and waited. It didn't even take ten minutes before someone came knocking. The first to come in was, surprisingly, Layla. She clutched a USB drive so tightly her knuckles turned white. As soon as she stepped inside, she dropped to her knees. "I'm sorry, Ms. Cooper. I'm so, so sorry. I must've been out of my mind!" She cried, burying her face in one hand, while holding out the USB drive with the other. "Everything's in here—every chat log where Keira planned how to blow this up step by step and force you to give in!

It’s because, he had a better distraction.” Tony said, now fixing his attention on Dan “Did you do what I asked you to do?” “Yes Boss. I copied it into this drive and deleted the security footage.” He said handing over the drive to Tony who inserted the drive to his laptop and click on a video.

She cried, but the Alpha licked her tears seductively. “I know its big but trust me, you can take it for sure, sweet little mocha.” He whispered and without notice, he thrust deeply inside her.

" I looked at him and almost laughed. I cleared my throat. "It isn't that hard to cheer me up." Troy's eyes brightened. "What do you want me to do?" I lifted my brows and leaned close to his ear. "Hey, you really didn't edit that photo? I still don't believe a human body can actually look like that, so let me see the real thing." Troy froze, and once it registered, his face went bright red. The copy didn’t move. “You shouldn’t be here,” it said. Charlotte’s hand didn’t shake. “I’m the reason you exist.” “No,” it replied. “You’re the reason we were necessary.” The fight was fast, brutal. The pod-copy was trained — perfectly. Every counter was known, every angle mirrored. Julian couldn’t get a shot in. Elias got slammed into a wall. Charlotte bled. The copy moved like her — but faster. More efficient. Less human. And that was its weakness.
