I’m talking to Mish when that she-demon comes storming up. “Liam. Where is Alpha King. I can’t find him”. Goddess Cordelia’s whiny voice is annoying. “He is avoiding you in the parts of the pack house you can’t get to him”. She stomps her foot like a 5 year old. “Then go get him or I will get my father to get him”. Mish can sense I’m about to growl at her which wouldn’t be a good look so she steps in. “This must be the famous Cordelia I have heard about”. She says it in a high-pitched annoying way that I don’t understand.

I turned back dialing a number. Suddenly someone walked closer to me, she fell on her knees. “Please don't kill us,” she pleaded, but before I could respond she zapped me with a teaser and I fell down…everything slowly went blank.

I regretted my choice instantly when I spotted some of the women drawing closer to him and swaying their hips harder, perhaps to get his attention. “He doesn’t have eyes for them, and they’ve all come with their mates anyway.” A voice called from behind me. It was a middle-aged woman with raven black hair and black eyes. Unlike every other person here, she was fully clothed, and that made me feel better, because I felt a bit overdressed in the blue silk gown I had on. “I wasn’t…” I began, about to lie, before thinking better of it. “Who are you?” “Cordellia is my name; I’m one of the pack healers, and I decided to take a small break from work since many pack members are here.”

I quickly step out to see a woman whose voice sounded awfully familiar, arguing with Delilah, the only model acquaintance I got along with because she was just as bitchy and spoilt as me. “You think I am a loser with no friends. Okay, first of all you couldn’t be more wrong, I have a lot of friends, Elizabeth, Victoria, Danika…..umm...my mother, my grandmother who, fun fact, knitted this sweater for me.” The woman said proudly as she gave Delilah what she thought was a savage reply. There were fewer people in the lobby and I just quietly made my way out when I heard my name being called. I looked back to see Sarah running towards me. "What are you doing here? Our classes ended long back." She asked out of breath. "Yeah, something happened. Why are you still here?" "Hades has his classes, so I wait for him." She shrugged. I nodded. "I really want you to meet him. Even my other friends. Hannah, Derrick, and Noah." She let out excitedly. And I smiled at her excitement.

She smiled and went over to hug him when someone stopped her. “Are you looking for Mr. Zephyr too?” Cordelia paused as she scrutinized the person in front of her and thought she looked familiar. “Mr. Zephyr said that he doesn’t like other women approaching him!” Cordelia finally recalled that this was Michelle Carmichael, who had signed with Sol Entertainment!
