The Pack's Dragon

The Pack's Dragon

“Did you see them?” The sheep seemed to prefer the far side of their hill-island, coming within view from the farm occasionally, giving only rare glimpses of those of the flock still alive. There was a scattering of bodies like bloodied collapsed clouds over a hill that had been trodden into mud beneath sheep hooves. The wind carried the stink of rot across the mildew scent of the river water, and carrion birds pecked at the bodies. “Shit,” Cameron said as one of the bodies snapped its teeth at the birds that pecked it, the food trying to eat that which sought to eat it.

I have enjoyed all the books that I've previously read through yours. and I believe you were doing an excellent job with this book. you edit very well and you're so expressive and it gets you so invested and intrigued about the whole story. I love how the species are starting to blend.

NIGHTSHIFT

NIGHTSHIFT

God help me get out of here! "Is there anyone there.. please help me!" She shouted. She felt someone breathing behind him. She was nervous it, was close to him. But it stinks so much! She stinks so much. She slowly turned around and backed away in fear, but her skull exploded. After her head separated from the body. Her whole body fell to the floor. She was not satisfied yet, she cut off the woman's body. It was like slaughtering a pig. Then, put it in the big sack and there insert the chop bodies.

Cordia's Will: A Civil War Story of Love and Loss

Cordia's Will: A Civil War Story of Love and Loss

No matter how hard she tried to make them clean, her hands stayed dirty. A little way in the distance, some men were digging a pit. They were throwing some of the bodies inside, mostly the ones dressed in blue. They would topple down the slopes, falling on top of each other, like marionettes whose strings had been cut. She tried to yell at the gravediggers not to go so fast. She hadn’t checked those men yet. She didn’t know if they were tossing in a familiar face. But they continued their work as if they could not see or hear her.

Awakening - Following Fate

Awakening - Following Fate

I am wowed by his presence, pulled to him by my need to be with him once more and not at all swayed by his filthy furred body, or the pile of carcasses around his feet, that build him higher on a podium made from death. Wolves take off after the escaping few, but I can already tell that compared to what we have seen in the forests, this mountain has way less than I anticipated and wonder where the hell they all are. The stench in here reeks of thousands of crammed vile souls, but all I see is a mere hundreds in terms of bodies scattered all around. Not even high in that count either.

The Alpha's Slave

The Alpha's Slave

It was at this that Theo looked around himself, taking in the decimating war that had claimed the lives of so many people. The dead bodies were crying in his head, and the sound of swords clashing still rang in his ears. Death had its particular smell, a nauseating odor that seemed to penetrate even the spaces between his fingers. The battlefield was a grotesque tableau of shattered lives and broken dreams, with the bodies of fallen warriors lying in grotesque contortions, their lifeless eyes staring blankly at the darkening sky.

Over my dead body...or yours.

Over my dead body...or yours.

I counted as my weapons met their targets necks and they fell lifeless to the floor. The fighting continued, Ace and I were neck and neck, keeping up with one another as we counted the bodies. I do have to admit, this little game we were playing was sick and twisted, but in our world, it was rather entertaining. I twisted the last guards neck as I watched him fall to the floor. “15.” We both exclaimed at the same time. “West side, clear.” I stated, slightly amused by the fact that Ace could keep up with me. “East side, clear.” His deep baritone voice filled my ear with a similar tone of amusement.

Stuck Between The Alpha And Rogue King

Stuck Between The Alpha And Rogue King

My eyes fell on the bodies of my packmates, their lifeless forms strewn about like discarded rag dolls. I couldn't help the wave of fear that washed over me as I realized that I was standing in the midst of a massacre. The bodies were torn apart, their flesh ripped and shredded by what looked like powerful claws. Blood pooled around them in macabre puddles, staining the ground with deep red.

A shewolf in distress

A shewolf in distress

Some looked hurt when a certain pack popped up on the screen and I deduced that, that pack must have been their original pack before they came to the North to seek refuge. “Next, Highbrow pack. This is a Southern pack. It was destroyed by the Dazelhead pack of the North. Now take note, this pack wasn't destroyed just in an ordinary power struggle. No, it was a planned destruction. And a very necessary one too. The Alpha of this pack, Alpha Adam was such an insolent, headstrong and arrogant wolf. He felt he was too big. That he wouldn't bow to anyone. His pack wasn't even the strongest in the South but he carried himself like he was.” I nearly started choking when the Highbrow pack symbol was

Spellbound by Obsession

Spellbound by Obsession

“That is… a scythe of death…” “No.” I shook my head. “It’s a scythe for harvesting hunters.” He opened his mouth to scream. The scythe came down. The body fell onto the grass, and the smell of blood mixed with the perfume of the rose bushes. “Four.” I announced, cleaning the blade on the grass. “Anyone else?” “No.” My tail answered, gesturing. The arrow-shaped tip pointed at the bodies. “These were all of them.” “Are you sure?” “Absolutely.”

No Longer His Convenient Wife

No Longer His Convenient Wife

River shouts from across the field, where one of the sheep has decided that the vegetable patch is its new home. “I’m coming!” I yell back. The second sheep makes a sharp turn, nearly colliding with me before darting away again, absolutely determined to make this as difficult as possible. “Why are they so fast?” Rain groans somewhere behind me, still half-covered in mud. “Because you’re slow,” Sienna calls back, not even looking up from her recording. One of the sheep—a particularly aggressive-looking one with horns, I’d name that one Lucifer—decides to test the fence integrity by ramming it repeatedly with its head.
