The sky was starting to take on a golden orange color, and the cold air carried the smell of toast from the small cafes along the way.
As she walked through the park, her eyes fell on a pair of grandparents sitting on a park bench with a small white dog. The grandmother waved kindly, asking her to come closer. Helena hesitated for a moment> Remembering all the warnings about being cautious of strangers. But this was Switzerland, a country known for being safe and peaceful.
“I guess this won't be a problem,” she said to herself. Finally, she approached them.
“You look like you need someone to talk to, child,” the grandmother said with a warm smile.
