The cabin was finally ready. It was small but comfortable, with a single bedroom, an open space that served as the kitchen, dining area, and living room, and a loft where I created a cozy reading nook. I hung some of the dresses I found in the chest, which I will wash later and carefully laid out the photographs and other trinkets on a small wooden table. The space felt like mine now—a mix of old and new, of discovery and belonging. “Aury, are you ready? Get your bow,” my mom called from the doorway.

Instead of cold marble and intimidating luxury, the space feels warm and inviting. A large four-poster bed sits at the center of the room, draped with sheer cream-colored fabric. The bedding is a blend of blush pinks, ivory, and soft gold, looking less like something from a royal palace and more like the kind of place I'd happily curl up in for hours with a book. The place was small but cozy. I had a small living area which also acted as my dining area. A large and a small couch with a small glass table at the centre, a couple chests of drawers and a small TV made my living room. Then there was my little kitchen, which for me was heaven, because I loved to cook; there was no dining table because of the lack of space but the couches were fine. Then there was my bedroom with a closet, mirror and a queen sized bed, with an en-suit bathroom. Like I said, small but cozy.

The scent of fresh pine mingled with the subtle floral notes, creating a soothing atmosphere. The room itself was spacious, furnished with a comfortable bed adorned with a plush duvet and a myriad of pillows. A small desk sat against the wall, adorned with a pen and notepad, inviting creativity and reflection. There were two doors in the bedroom leading to heavens knows where, two large windows, one, of course, led to an open balcony that had a magnificent view of the vast expanse of green at the backyard and the other that showed what she assumed would be the aide of the house. At the end of the sitting room was a bookshelf filled with leather-bound classics that stood in one corner, inviting me to curl up and lose myself in the world of literature. However, at the other corner of the room, there was a small nook dedicated to relaxation. A cozy armchair was placed next to a window overlooking a lush garden, inviting me to sit back, enjoy the view, and unwind with a good book or a cup of tea. It was a truly enchanting space that made me feel like I had stepped into a dream.

My mouth nearly hit the floor at the massive room that looked more like a studio. We walked into a small living room with a hallway kitchen at one end, just four cabinets and small counter space, but also with a stove and fridge. Behind the couch was a queen size bed and two night stands with a small cove that had three cribs set up with blankets and mobiles. "This is... perfect." I gently set my son down while they set the other two in their crib. The small cove was decorated in fierce wolves and unicorns with rainbows and waterfalls. It looked magical.

There was a dining area, a living room with a huge ass TV and a couch to fit at least 20 people, and a big modern kitchen with a huge island as the centerpiece. It even had an upstairs, with a bedroom, bathroom, a freaking walk-in closet, and a reading nook – although reading nook was probably the wrong word to use since I’d seen full-on libraries with fewer books than that. The bedroom was huge, with a four-poster king-size bed in the middle and room to freaking spare. The theme of the room seemed to be blue and gold, but in such a subtle way, that it still felt warm and inviting.
