Near the corner, a floor-to-ceiling built-in shelf housed neat rows of hardbound storybooks and collectible models. A plush navy area rug sprawled across most of the floor, partially covered by scattered wooden train tracks and a few half-built marble runs. It also has two massive walk-in closets, one in each bedroom, and there are two doors that lead to the bathroom, one that goes into each room, the bathroom is like the connector of the two rooms. There is a small kitchenette that has a standard size fridge and freezer that already has some food in it, with a small dining table, in the small living room there is a couch and a coffee table with a faux fireplace heater, it produces quite a lot of heat and has a visual of logs burning without the actual flames. The cabinets were a soft white, with silver handles that reflected the light. The office was a cozy nook, with a sturdy oak desk that held my computer and the various tools of my trade. Shelves lined with books and framed photos of loved ones—which mostly consisted of Killian, Alice, and I—made the space feel personal and lived-in. My bedroom was a sanctuary of calm, with plush bedding in tranquil blues and greens, and the walls adorned with art that depicted serene landscapes. But the best part was the second room, which while still left relatively plain for my own decorating preferences, had a wooden crib, a changing table, and a rocking chair already in place.

There was an old plaid couch near the door, opposite the little kitchen. In the narrow hallway was a small bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower. Next to that was a closet with an old washing machine. Behind a folding partition was an elevated platform big enough to fit a Queen-size bed. The mattress and pillows looked new. There was a little closet in the corner containing a hanging rack and tiny dresser. All more than enough for me.

It had a warm feel to it. The dresser had stuffed animals and children's books. One corner of the room had neatly stacked boxes. It was a cozy little bedroom that warmed her heart.
