Novelas y relatos de Crash Landing On You

"I cannot." "Ava, that is an order." I cut the channel and dropped toward Runway Three. The runway lights stretched toward me fast. I lowered the landing gear, and the whole frame shuddered. In the final approach, a base service vehicle suddenly shot onto the edge of the runway. The door flew open, and Chloe stumbled out as if she meant to force me away with her own body. I yanked the stick back. The landing gear scraped the runway edge, and the aircraft lurched out of balance. The left wing slammed into the barrier, sparks tearing across the ground. My harness cut into my chest as I crashed forward against the instrument panel, and the taste of blood filled my mouth.

My boot lands on wet earth. And like a nightmare, the ground disappears beneath me. For one horrible second, nothing happens. Then everything does. The soil gives out. Loose rocks slide violently beneath my feet. My stomach drops. “Oh shi—” The incline collapses under me. I scream. And then I’m falling.

CHAPTER 52: THE TEETH OF THE SLUMS The landing wasn't graceful. It was a violent collision with the reality of the lower wards. We hit the roof of a rusted tenement building in the "Grey-Sector," the impact vibrating through my mercury-bound wings like a tuning fork struck by a sledgehammer. My knees buckled, the "Lagos-grit" pavement shredding through my Liquid-Light gown as I skidded toward the edge of the roof, clutching Dante’s dead weight against my chest.

The impact threw us forward, and I heard Michelle scream as her head slammed into my seat. Heat radiated through the floor as the plane finally skidded to a stop deep in the woods. Flames licked at the wreckage. I tore off my harness and jumped out, rushing back to drag Michelle free. Blood streamed down her face, dark against her skin. We couldn’t stay here—not for a second. “Eagle Ten to command,” I shouted into the radio. “Crash landed. We need assistance now. We’re five clicks from the base we hit.” Only static answered me. “Command, this is Eagle Ten—we have one down with head trauma. Please respond.”

CHAPTER 22 THIN WALLS, THINNER LINES ISLA In case you've been wondering how long it takes to go from being in cloud nine drastically back down to earth, I'll tell you for free. It takes just a millisecond, and you'll crash harder than you've ever crashed. That was how hard I crashed when I heard footsteps outside the door to the stairwell. I crashed so hard I froze on impact. It wasn't the dramatic kind of freeze where your body tenses all at once, but the terrifying one where everything inside you goes quiet at first.

The next, I was falling. My hands reached out, grabbing at nothing. I could not stop myself. I could not slow down. I rolled down the steps so fast, my body and my head pounding against each one. It was over in a heartbeat. I landed hard at the bottom, my head slamming into the small table there. The vase on it crashed down onto my stomach, knocking the air right out of my lungs.

"Engine one is flaming out! We’re going down!" The Osprey lurched violently to the right. The sudden gravity shift threw Robert and Ben against the cargo netting. "Where are we landing?" Marcus roared, grabbing a strap with his good hand and hooking his leg around a cargo crate. "Nowhere good!" Elena yelled. "Old mining strip. Rough terrain. Hold on to something!" The world became a blender of noise. Metal shrieked as the landing gear sheared off against the tops of pine trees. The fuselage slammed into the frozen earth, bouncing once, twice, grinding over rocks and snow. Sparks showered the interior like fireworks.

THUD! Liam and Vanessa crashed to the floor in a tangle of limbs and shock. Vanessa's silk robe flew open, exposing more skin than Cora wanted to see. Liam's shoulder slammed into the edge of the coffee table, and his head followed with a sickening crack that echoed through the apartment.

Chapter 97: The Final Dash The roof gave way beneath them. Luca and Ethan crashed onto the lower terrace of the Ambassador’s Residence, a heavy, scraping impact that sent shards of glass and splinters of concrete tumbling into the manicured garden below. The hedges, once pristine and precise, now bristled with movement as their landing disrupted the calm. Their breaths came in sharp, ragged bursts, lungs burning from exertion and adrenaline.

Then— CRASH. The plate slipped from my hands, shattering at my feet. Silence. They heard. They saw. *Fuck*
