My heart sank into my tummy and tears came flooding back when I saw I was almost near the end of the road. I stepped on the brakes continuously, hoping some sort of miracle would happen before I got to the bridge. As my car drew closer to the bridge, Sir’s car came from the lower lane and entered my front with full speed. My car crashed into his car, the windshield of my car shattered, and the window of his car broke. My head hit the steering wheel and my world blacked out for a few minutes. I opened my eyes to see Sir was unconscious, his head was resting on the steering wheel, and blood was flowing down his face from the other car.

Then— CRASH. The plate slipped from my hands, shattering at my feet. Silence. They heard. They saw. *Fuck*
