Being reminded like that only made her curiosity even more intense. She skimmed the contents of the letter and it was pretty much the same as what Jake had told her earlier. Of course, the contents of the letter were from Clarisa's point of view. Syila followed Jake who was already sitting on the sofa. The TV was on and Jake smiled sweetly as he looked at her.

Feli swallowed hard as Jerrald climbed the stairs one by one while looking deeply into her eyes. "You're making me lose my mind, Miss Cia..." ***

Claire’s POV: I close my eyes in front of my huge cake. “I wish…” All of a sudden there was a huge crash and one of the guests screamed. My head quickly snaps towards the gut wrenching scream I hear. Two of the guests were fighting and destroying everything in their path. Tables, chairs and crashing into other guests. I couldn’t make out who they were from where I was standing. Everyone was panicking, usually they would have shifted by now. To be honest I’m surprised they hadn’t already. Between the screams and violence i couldn’t think straight. What was I supposed to do?!

The bookshelf was just as tall as Andrew so he could easily access the books there. The bookshelf had all sorts of books, ranging from fictional novels to nonfictional novels, to educational novels and textbooks. Her eyes caught titles like; The Redwall series by Brian Jacques, Caddie Woodlawn by Carol Ryrie Brink, The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros and a lot more. Even the Encyclopedia was in his bookshelf. And there was also some novels on the basis of business and finance. The book the lad was currently reading was The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie.

Gina said with her mouth full. Selena looked at her with a confused face. "Have you been reading more of those books?" She was referring to the books on Gina's desk that had weird titles like "How to properly unlock the door without the key." , "Speak like a smarty pants!" , "Who are you? I am the ugly world?" , "Books for people who are cops." And other titles. Selena didn't even want to think of how silly the contents were. Who on earth even wrote those books and where did Gina even get them?

There were also immortal books made of multi-colored ancient jades, golden books covered with dazzling, lustrous golden lights, and even strange books enveloped by lightning. Alex was dumbfounded just by looking at them. He looked at the crowd around him and realized that no one looked in that direction. Even if he reminded them by making vague references, they failed to sense anything. Pigsy even came over and passed through the bookshelf, yet it found nothing. Sensing no anomaly, it was as if the bookshelves containing the bizarre books were utterly nonexistent. “Do you find this table a little odd?” Alex deliberately said after he walked to the table and knocked it.

To cancel the weird feeling of intimidation, I praise him back. "And you look good," I smile quickly and check the books on his cart. "Panda Writes? You like fiction?" "Ah, no. My sister asks me to buy this for her." "Ow..." "How about you? You are..." he is checking the books I picked "fond of reading Things You Should Know About Teenagers and Their Hormones," he reads the title completely. I smile and... what?! I check the book in my cart and it is definitely there. A book with the title Kaze read. A book to understnad kids. A book for parents. Are high school kids supposed to read that?
