she dragged out. "Well the weeks before that, we spent time talking about the history of the Roman and the comparison between the greek and the Roman world." He paused letting that sink in. "Now according to the common myths and all that jazz, the world started with the titan who ate his children so no one could do to him what he did to his father and I'm guessing you also know Zeus ate his father and became the king of the gods and all that, yeah?" He paused again, not looking at her, fighiting the growing urge to glance up at those dark grey orbs.

I sighed, rubbing a hand over my face. He cocked his head, looking at me strangely. “What?” I asked. “Why did you say it like that? You put Poseidon above Zeus. No one does that. Zeus is the King of the Gods. He is placed above all.” he explained. “I exist because of Poseidon. He is the one that gifted the bull who would sire me to Minos. He is the one that cursed my mother with lust for the bull after Minos angered him. So it is the God of the Sea who set into motion my creation.” I explained.

Such an interesting & sweet twist to the Minotaur's story. Loved it! Asterion was so well depicted & emotionally drawn. The ending & epilogues were just so heart touching. I was very moved by the ending. Thanks for a very lovely, moving story.

I loved this story. I started reading it twice before, then just read it all way through over the last couple of days. I really want more like this! It was such a great twist on the Minotaur Myths and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Darkrise: Dawn of Darkness

Hugo asked. "Well, the greek gods created Pandora as an act of vengeance for the men who stole fire from them. Hephaestus created her from the earth, Athena clothed her, Apollo gave her musical prowess, and Aphrodite made her irresistible among men. She was beautiful, talented, and guileful." "Very good, little miss. You retained the greek mythology that your late grandfather used to tell you,” Hugo praised. "Why are you asking about Pandora?" I continued.

"Rhea managed to save the youngest, Zeus, by hiding him away on the island of Crete, fed Kronos a stone wrapped in the swaddling clothes of an infant. The god grew up, forced Kronos to disgorge his swallowed offspring, and led the Olympians in a ten-year war against the Titans, before driving them defeated into the pit, of what we call hell. Do you know what it's called?" I asked Mac and he nodded. "Yes, the pit of silence and I don't give a fuck about Greek Myth." He whined and I laughed softly. "Tartarus. It's where all Mythological monsters and beings go after being destroyed, Except for gods, who fade away if they lose too many supporters and prayers. I don't want you to fail the rest to

“Do you like fantasy?” “Like dragons and Lord of the Rings stuff? No. I don’t think of the Greek gods as fantasy. I think of them as history.” He looked surprised. “So, you believe in it all?” I shrugged. “I don’t know that I don’t believe in it. I think you have to wonder where the stories came from. Every myth stems from something. What sparked the stories? And it is so elaborate. It would have taken a mastermind to just make up this whole world of people and give them each a story.”

Alpha's Secret Mate

Alpha's Secret Mate

"You see before the gods of old heralded the storms to cast the wicked humans from his earth, wolves were as we always were. Sleek killers who hunted with packs, not mindless, but not burdened by the weight of awareness either. We were perfect before we became these upright furless mockeries of the man-apes that once ruled us. Despite being given everything they needed, humans still wanted more and, in their arrogance, sought the knowledge of the Goddess. They created crimes against the natural order of the world!" "So the Goddess punished those humans, brought the floods which we'd avoided when we escaped Arcadia. Created us to fill the void of worship. King Lycaon, the first of us—with his

The Vampire Prince Wants My Blood

The cover reads 'Legend of the gods. Curiously, I flipped open the first page while still standing at the top of the ladder and I read. Selene the moon goddess who created the moon. Mistress of the night and Mother of all living creatures in the world. She created the supernatural creatures and also the humans. Then last of all is Khaos, known as the legendary beast. He was the least of all gods and the moon goddess put him in charge of taking care of her children on earth so there would be peace among all. The moon goddess gave him a

Sophy looked at me, as though she could read my thoughts. “Could someone lend me a cell phone?” Sophy asked. Khalid was the first to respond and hand over his cell phone, which he already unlocked for her. As Sophy is sitting on the opposite side of the shield, I can't see what she's searching for. “According to the myths, The Great Old Ones, the Earth was inhabited by creatures who appeared here billions of years ago even before our planet was able to generate and sustain life on its own. It is said that it was these creatures, and not God, who created life on earth. Man himself was their creation, created solely from scorn and servitude. My Next Life As A Wicked Dame

My Next Life As A Wicked Dame

Even Gods can escape death, the destruction, the annihilation. It was believed that the Original Creator split Himself into various things on the world. His blood became the ocean and rivers, nourishing and nurturing lives. His body became the land and islands. His right hand formed the mountain and valleys. One of His eyes became the Sun, while the other became the silver moon. His heart turned into the dragons; His kidneys turned into the Elves; His ears turned into beast people; His liver turned into mystical creatures; His brain turned into dwarves. His spirit became the seven orthodox Gods, and His knowledge gave birth to humanity.
