The Wife He Never Wanted

The Wife He Never Wanted

“The police are still looking for the one who did this to you.” I looked up and saw him staring at me. “Hm, but I’m scared that the criminal might try to hurt Miles.” I was a lawyer, and so was Dylan. We were used to thinking about things from every possible angle, to understand the reasons behind them, what happened, and why. Criminals could act either out of conviction or provocation. The hardest ones to deal with were those who acted out of conviction, because they usually had a lot of information. And it wasn’t impossible that whoever did this to me already knew about Miles, and could use that to hurt me. The thought terrified me.

Caught in-between Scammers

Caught in-between Scammers

Hence with this concept and sentiment, the good side of it (the reasonableness way of doing things) had then been overshadowed by the dark cloud. Malice aforethought became the order of the day; anywhere they are found in the world. Initiating an unseen criminality record ever practiced by a black community in the world. Where cerebrations and intentions behind a wrongful act is well simulated without shame. A mens rea (knowledge that the act is illegal) well garnered and sponsored. Backed by high government officials of their country at times.

I looked at V with tears streaming down my face. "Rosa, I know what you are feeling. But Xavier is really a dangerous man. He is a PSYCHOPATH, Rosa. He had killed numerous people. He murdered everyone who had ever tried to keep you away from him. Being a Mafia is not a big deal but being a Psycho Mafia is one. He had killed my best Agents. Nick, Mark, Rebecca, Jennie, Katherine, Leon and...." I looked up at him. I grabbed his collar in frustration.

Hotter Than Hell

Hotter Than Hell

The door closes and I begin trembling. I’m not sure if it’s caused by Moon, the overload of adrenaline, or the hit to my head. I remind myself who he is—all the horrible things I know about him. He’s the embodiment of every criminal who has crossed my path. He has multiple deaths credited to his organization. There’s never been enough evidence to pin them on Moon, but law enforcement knows he’s responsible. And even with all these thoughts, my damn body doesn’t care.

Absolutely amazing read! Great reader captivation, there seems to actually be a quality editorial team proofreading this novel. I highly recommend it to anyone on this app! To date it is the only novel I've paid to read and I've been using the app for the better part of 6months.

"Although he is already in prison, the FBI believes it is important to seek justice for every victim, to close every possible case," Christie Palazzolo, an FBI crime analyst, said in a statement. "Believe it or not, you only see evil a few times in your career," Marcia of the Los Angeles Police Department told The New York Times. "Looking into his eyes, I would say that he was pure evil," she recounted. And it is that the amount of details about the murders that he claims to have committed, the majority against women, left detectives, police officers and prosecut

The grammar make it hard to read. The author writes in past and present tense in the same sentence quite frequently. It needs a good edit, but the story is amazing. Characters are well developed and I'm intrigued to see what happens next

Only a child who wouldn't understand English don't follow through the plot of the story. People keep calling out the author's grammar and spelling on here but there are worst books than this one and yet they don't call out those authors. I understand the book very well and the English wasn't bad.

That Night in the Woods

That Night in the Woods

You shall accept the veracity. “Shut up! Shut the hell up!” I fought back against my subconscious. I’m always right. You’re a murderer. You’re a bad person. If mom and dad knew what you would turn out to be they’d have been so disappointed. “I’m a good person! Liam! Olivia! Get up!” Murderer. My subconscious mind sang to my pain. “Stop please! I’m a bad person. I killed them,” I sniffled. Accurate. It’s always good to confess to your crimes. But that doesn’t get you out of jail. That doesn’t make you a good person.

Dangerous Game

Dangerous Game

The cold metal of a gun pressed against the underside of my chin. "Did you not hear me the first time?" The man's hot, wet breath fanned across my face. My stomach turned. "I said get on the fucking floor, bitch." His dark eyes gleamed with malice. Some criminals were all bravado. They just wanted to snatch the goods and leave without actualy killing anyone. But the man in front of me? He wouldn't hesitate to murder someone in cold blood. He looked like he was itching for it. The drumming of my heart reached a fever pitch.

I cannot go to jail please help me.
