Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

Byron cackled, his voice dripping with twisted delight. "Think you can run from it? These desires come from inside you, from your own body, your own heart. The Demonic Art reaches beyond death itself. There is no escaping it." He let out a cold, satisfied sneer. Suddenly, a massive cloud of black mist, threaded through with a sickly pink haze, exploded outward and blanketed the entire sky above the Umbral Peak Sect.

Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

The Black Wolf

The Black Wolf

Maybe he had a plan, maybe he was the only one who could truly tame the beast inside me. After thirteen days, we finally arrived at Crimson Dusk, a pack of blood magic, just as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the entire sky in shades of scarlet and violet. The gates at the borders loomed before us, forged from dark iron and etched with runes that pulsed faintly in the twilight. As we crossed into the pack’s territory, a chill ran through me. Crimson Dusk was massive, larger than any pack I had ever seen. The buildings rose tall and close, constructed from blackened stone and obsidian glass. But what struck me most wasn’t the architecture, it was the people.

Three Alphas, One Luna

Three Alphas, One Luna

Their black armor, etched with silver runes, shimmered beneath the lantern light. My heart thrummed with power as I stepped forward, cloak swirling like a ripple of night. The scent of my minions, this legion of darkness washed over me in waves: leather, steel, earth. I felt the familiar surge of magic coursing through my veins, the heady rush that came with absolute control. Tonight, we would unleash the first wave of my dark creatures upon the Crimson Moon pack. I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply, savouring the moment before the storm.

Crimson Moon

Crimson Moon

I glanced at the little wall clock, thirty past two and the sun wasn't up and there were so many rain clouds in the sky I was sure it would rain again. We got to the forest—where I had almost killed Dawn—and Jereum started by ripping a part of his inner shirt and wrapping it around my eyes. "Okay, what are we doing?" I asked. "Vampires do not need light to see, I'm sure you should know that." "Yeah I do but—" "Ow!" I yelled in pain, as something hard collided with my head. "Less talking more blocking." "Okay," I said, massaging the part of my skull that had just got assaulted, "just tell me so I'll be read—"

Black Angel Or African Gods

Black Angel Or African Gods

Immediately, the black figure flew out of the violent water turbulence, the entire world became bathed in untamed darkness. The darkness, rolled out like a wave in all directions until the light vanished, and nothing was visible anymore. However, just as the light was spreading out, something strange happened. The black-light started receding at an alarmingly fast rate. The darkness, crumbled and folded into itself, like a paper. It was being suppressed by a strange blood-red-crimson light. The next moment,

Mated to the Wolf and Dragon

Mated to the Wolf and Dragon

Crimson took a deep breath, wiped her palms on her skirt and entered the clearing. As soon as she stepped out of the Labyrinth, and into the moonlight, the forest went completely quiet; not an owl, not a cricket. She shivered with the power of the place. Crimson made a conscious effort to breath as she peered into the trees hoping to get a bit of a warning as to the Dragon's approach. She heard a rustling of leaves off to the right. She whipped around to see... nothing there. She thought she saw a shadow pass between two trees, but perhaps it was only the wind moving the branches. Her fear was mounting. She thought of running, but realized that there really was no life to go back to. There!

System Of Blood: To Crave Survival

System Of Blood: To Crave Survival

CHAPTER 85 Camryn's POV Dawn broke over the corrupted landscape in shades of dark blood and copper rust. I watched it through the safehouse window while Miranda checked our supplies one last time. The sun rose through air that had been poisoned by decades of anomaly activity. It was too red and swollen, like something diseased trying to burn through toxic clouds. “Beautiful, isn’t it?” Amon said quietly from beside me. “In a terrible sort of way.” “I’m not sure ‘beautiful’ is the word I’d use.”

The Luna Queen

The Luna Queen

The red glow washed over the tops of the trees, stained the bark and turned the mist between the branches into a faint and bloody haze. “The Crimson Full Moon,” I whispered. “It’s starting.” Sarah stared up too. Her voice shook. “This is the night,” she said. “The night he waited for. The night he wanted to kill you.” Athena’s tone darkened. It is the night dark forces rise. The veil is thin. The ritual is at its strongest now. “We have no time,” I said. “Come on.” We flew lower through the trees. The red moonlight leaked between branches and fell like strange rain over the forest floor. My spirit flickered when it touched me. The world felt stretched like both the astral realm and the real

The Crimson Veil

The Crimson Veil

The candles went out. Author’s Note - The Crimson Veil began as a late-night idea about what might happen if logic met temptation in its purest, most dangerous form. Evelyn’s curiosity is my own: the need to understand what we fear, even when it leads us somewhere we can’t easily return from. This story mixes gothic atmosphere, mystery, and forbidden connection—a slow burn between intellect and instinct. Every chapter was written and refined by hand, inspired by old literature and the darker side of human emotion.

The Crimson Curse

The Crimson Curse

Death draws me towards it like we have been attached with an unbreakable string. Maybe it's just a superpower in which I get the last chance to save the person in front of me or maybe it’s a curse. Particularly a Crimson curse, as I like to call it. Through the years the number of deaths I have seen is greater than my age. You would think that death doesn't affect me anymore. You are right to think that because that is what I had thought until 5 days ago.
