Dream Love
When he nodded, Marc looked at me and said, “I’ve secured some clothes more appropriate for you, my love. They’re in the closet.”
“Thanks,” I said, softly. As they started out the door I worriedly called out, “Marc?”
He stopped, looked at me for a moment, and then walked back to kiss me, reassuringly, on the lips while insisting that all would be fine.
It felt good to put on clothes that didn’t display my bare backside or hang on me like a flour sack. I felt a little more like myself when I returned to my friends in the great room.
“All is good, right?” Pete asked worriedly.
