The Wolf Hunter's Daughter

The Wolf Hunter's Daughter

Oh God, it hurt. I crouched there in the dirt, letting my tears drench the earth. Cried for Hein, cried for myself and for all the awful things that happened. I let it all out. Not that crying ever fixed anything, and no amount of crying would ever fix me. But it was like a dam burst. And there was no stopping it. ***

I belong to the alpha

I belong to the alpha

My heart burns with anger and hatred, but it's no match for the crushing grief that threatens to destroy me. I weep, my body shaking with sobs. My hair falls around my face, a constant reminder of my mother's love, now lost forever. I remember her gentle touch, braiding my hair with love and care. Now, she's gone, and I'm left with nothing but pain and sorrow. The tears flow uncontrollably, a river of grief that refuses to dry up.

Chatting with The Billionaire

Chatting with The Billionaire

My words on the page blurred from my tears, but I forced myself to finish, because if I didn’t, who else would fight for Cynthia? A stream of tears had flowed down my face again and again, so much that I thought I had run dry. Yet each time I blinked, new ones came, burning my swollen eyes. My chest ached from the constant sobbing, the grief dragging me down until even breathing felt like a punishment.

CAPTIVATED BY THE SEDUCTIVE BILLIONAIRE

CAPTIVATED BY THE SEDUCTIVE BILLIONAIRE

My hands clutched at the grass, pulling at it in my desperation to feel something—anything—other than this crushing emptiness. The tears flowed freely now, my sobs echoing in the quiet of the cemetery. I hadn’t cried like this in years, always too focused on the next move, the next step in my plan to let myself break. But here, with me mother, I felt like a little girl again—lost, scared, and longing for comfort. I let it all out—the pain, the loneliness, the exhaustion. My chest heaved with the force of my sobs, each one tearing through me as if trying to pull me apart from the inside.

Let Me Go, Alpha Calhoun

Let Me Go, Alpha Calhoun

Each cry feels like an attempt to let out the pain that's taken hold of me. Nana Joyce, her eyes showing the sadness mirrored on my face, comes closer with a gentle touch. Her hands, marked by years and wisdom, try to comfort me as I give in to the flood of sorrow. In that moment, this mystical room becomes a place for my tears, where the sound of desperation fills the air. It's heavy with the burden of dreams that won't come true, and here I am, on the floor, shattered and inconsolable, grieving not just for Calhoun but for the broken pieces of what we once hoped for.

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

He whispers softly in a strained voice. The tears spill over, and I nod, unable to hold back anymore. “Please,” I whisper, my voice breaking. “I need you.” Pressing my face into his chest, I can't stop myself from sobbing. I am crying not just because I am in pain, but because I am suffering from being so helpless.

the alpha is supposed to be blind, it’s the whole premise of the book, yet the author constantly describes him as “seeing” people’s blood shot eyes, watching people walk away, looking at himself. it’s sloppy, bad writing. i don’t recommend the “sometimes not quite blind alpha”

Interesting characters. Interesting werewolf lore. I just hope the author never "cures" the blind alpha as he actually is mostly capable anyway. The FL goes through quite the character development, and that's putting it mildly. The quality of the narration and writing itself is publish-worthy.

The Beastly Lycan's Unwanted Wife

The Beastly Lycan's Unwanted Wife

Richard I stood in the midst of death and grief, surrounded by the heavy silence that only tragedy can bring. Everywhere my eyes land, there is the corpse of my people, with their loved ones grieving for their loss. Their anguished cries pierced the air, echoing the magnitude of the devastation that had befallen us. Each life lost represented a shattered dream, a void that could never be filled.

My Stepbrother, My Mate

My Stepbrother, My Mate

My tears mingled with ash and blood, streaking down my face in silent mourning for the innocence we could never get back. “They were just children,” I choked, my voice cracking as the words left my throat. My knees buckled beneath me, hands pressed into the blood-slick ground as if I could anchor myself in a world slipping away. “We’re losing everything,” I whispered, but it came out as a scream—a raw, broken sound filled with the kind of grief that guts the soul. My chest heaved, a sob tearing free as the faces of the fallen swam before my eyes. Every breath felt like drowning. Every heartbeat a hammer blow. There was no order. No future. Only death—and the crushing realization that we were

Under the Moonlight: Alpha's Bride 2

Under the Moonlight: Alpha's Bride 2

I cried openly and unreservedly, no longer constrained by the need to keep up appearances. My body trembled, my knees bowing under the weight of my grief. I slumped to the ground, the dirt absorbing my pain as I sobbed, the sound of my tears blending with the symphony of nature all around me. The monsters' once-dangerous cries faded into background noise, their menace diminishing in the face of the tempest within. The ebb and flow of my tears marked the passage of time as hours passed. Exhaustion struck in, bone-deep tiredness equal to the weight of my grief. As I stayed trapped within my storm.

One Luna, Four Alphas

One Luna, Four Alphas

My sobs echoed through the silent room, a symphony of grief and frustration. I clung to my pillow, desperately seeking solace in its soft embrace. The fabric absorbed my tears, offering a feeble comfort amidst the chaos that consumed me. I felt the weight of the world upon my shoulders, the burden of my unexplained affliction threatening to shatter the fragile fragments of hope that remained. As the tears continued to fall, my body trembled with a mixture of exhaustion and anguish. I could no longer contain the torrent of emotions that raged within me. Each sob was a cathartic release, a plea for understanding, and a lament for the life I once knew.

I’m sorry. I gave up on this book. It was all over the place. Names mixed up. Events changed from what we previously read in a prior chapter. There is an entire chapter completely unrelated to anything about this book. It doesn’t flow. It doesn’t seem to go anywhere. Refund would be nice…
