I need to get out of here. I tried to open the tomb of my mother. I struggled as I tried to push the heavy marble covers to pry it open. My palms pressed sharply against the marble and it sank into my flesh— it moved. The cover opened small enough to fit my arm through it. I took the crown from the floor and hid it inside my mother’s tomb. I need to hide it away from them. I pushed back the heavy cover back in place until it completely shut.

I caught him before he could make any such move. “Something is missing,” I mumbled under my breath, my eyes were trailing up and down to find the missing thing. A sinister smile appeared on my lips when I found it and the pure terror came across his sweaty, bloody, all messed up face as he realized my intentions. “Slit a cut over his abdomen, I want his entrails to slowly come out so I could draw them,”

Knowing that he’d drive a hard bargain, I teasing said, “I miss having drinks with my friends, are you going to take that away from me too?” “Smart one, aren’t you? You know exactly how to get things done your way.” He said as he watched me hop onto a stool by the bar. “Yes.” I grinned, “You think you don’t have a weakness? Hell no! I’ve learnt that guilt is your one huge weakness. And I’m going to make use of every opportunity I get to exploit it.” “Mind your actions, you’ll render me immune to it if you over-use that tactic,” “Oh, I know you won’t.”

I had to outwit, outmanoeuvre, and outsmart them all. And so, my father's fervour for tactics and thinking several steps ahead became my guiding light. I learned to strategize, to anticipate the moves of my opponents, and to always stay one step ahead. Creativity became my ally, a means to gain an edge over those who possessed brute strength alone. As I sat at my desk, trying to process everything I had learned about Kaye, I couldn't help but wonder if my husband Gael knew about her past. Did he know about her history of manipulation and deception? Did he know about her troubled childhood and her tendency to use men for her own gain? I thought about Gael's character, about the kind of man he was. He was a successful businessman, confident and charming. He was the kind of man who always got what he wanted, and he wasn't afraid to use his wealth and influence to get it.

I asked, his face was in horror, “You nearly collapsed-” I pushed myself back a little, laughing. “Oh- don’t you worry.” I forced a smile onto my lips. “I must have tripped.” He wasn’t buying it,” I’m just so clumsy, Mr. Dunn.” I swallowed hard, “I’ll just take myself inside.” I began to walk to the house before I turned my head back. “Don’t tell him, please, I just-” I smiled, “Was a little light-headed.” I walked quickly to my house, trying to shudder myself from his stare.

Still, if a man is not born with the body the world worships, he can make use of the minds of those who are. That is the thing the big bastards never understand. They believe cunning is some lesser quality because it does not announce itself in muscle. They confuse visibility with worth. They mistake being feared in the obvious way for being dangerous. It would almost be funny if so many of them had not strutted through life with the confidence of creatures too dull to understand that subtlety had already cut their throats.

Cuzo said in a justified tone and emphasizes something again in the next sentence that was uttered with great momentum. “Parrots are very smart than us, they are very cute and furry, their feather is so soft and nice to touch and also...” Cuzo always repeated the words ‘cute’ and smart’ describing the parrots with an intoxicated expression in his face many times that Gabriel faint smile that his lips had formed go down, and twitches at this idiocy his enemy is showing so shamelessly to his sight. Even the Henn sibling present, Kuro and Clone twitches their lips at their young master public display of idiocy.

Trick Walking up the stairs to my apartment, I try to tell myself to keep this slow. Don't go in there like a fucking caveman and haul her to the bedroom. I should be nice and seduce her, I haven't done that yet. Who the hell am I kidding, I've never, not once in my life, seduced anyone, and I'm not even sure I'd be able to do it.
