CHOSEN

CHOSEN

He muttered and I frowned in confusion. She just makes you— The clanging sound of a loud bell suddenly filled the air now and it was like the world around took a pause as all the growling stopped. .. But then it continued. The pause was momentary as the Ferals all around us started growling again. However, this time, the growling seemed to be going away from us and not towards us. The bell continued clanging from a distance and it seemed to be coming from the old bell house… and it seemed to be calling the Ferals as they were no longer slamming against the wooden door now.

PRETENDER: Alpha's Forbidden Omega

PRETENDER: Alpha's Forbidden Omega

She walked back to her chair, picked up her knitting, and began again. Not with the same pattern. Not with the same colors. She was weaving something new now. Something meant for war. ★★★ ★★★ The iron bell tolled across the spires of Ashmoore—four times, slow and deep. It wasn’t a usual bell. Not the one for meals. Not the one for combat drills. This bell was older. And it meant gathering.

A Different Kind of Alpha: Blood Oath

A Different Kind of Alpha: Blood Oath

Kieran The Great Bell of Silvercrest has not rung for an emergency meeting in the middle of the night for as long as I’ve been alive. It’s a sound reserved for catastrophe. It’s the sound of invasion, of fire, of the death of an Alpha. It’s a deep, resonant boom that vibrates through the stone floor, shaking the dust from the rafters and waking every living soul within a five-mile radius. I stand on the dais at the head of the Great Hall, watching the chaos unfold below me.

I feel like the story was drawn out and slow at some points, but overall it was good. I love Kieran and Alexei as a couple and how they interacted with the other characters. The only thing I would change is having them switch occasionally in the bedroom since Kieran is an alpha too.

Son Of The Betrayed-An Alpha King Wolf Shifter Romance

The bronze bell rang a second time, the vibration rattling through the valley floor. It was a second note, longer, heavier, and older than the first. On the open grass, the children were gathered by the adults and guided toward the lower residential terraces in a quick, orderly sequence.

I demand, feeling nervous. “Oh, that’s a bell from the human kingdom. It's called Reincast, and when you go a certain distance away from the pack, you can hear it faintly,” Jenna explains, “The bell normally sounds at sunset and sunrise. I guess the sun has set already. Alexander must already be at the spot, he said you had to present there by the sunset. Hurry up.”

"Get the divorce papers and Terrell Group equity transfer agreement ready and send them to Terrell Tower. And replace the bell-ringer for tomorrow." Peter paused, taken aback. "Ms. Bennett, who should I replace them with?"

she hindered rapidly, running her finger over the little screen. Darell grinned and lifted his hands high, "Statements of regret ma'am." "I see no chime," Marcelyn noticed, raising her wrist to assess the watch. "What ringer?" He questioned, perusing her demeanor. "The ringer rings once an hour, I don't see that here." Darell comprehended what she was referring to. It was the goliath chime that generally gonged boisterously at whatever point an hour passed. "This is a cutting-edge type, and there's no ringer in it, everything you need to do is peruse it to give the current time.

Nine Ungrateful Sisters

"Give it a few more years. Once you've grown into yourself a bit more, you might actually hold your own against her." Rebecca shot him a look sharp enough to strip paint. The place Caleb was heading to was called Bronzebell Garden. The bronze bell was an ancient instrument, large and resonant, with a tone somewhere between a bell and a chime. Naming a residence after it said something about the people who lived there. Oscar felt a flicker of genuine curiosity. They had barely reached the gate when a young woman appeared before the doorman could even announce them. The moment Oscar saw her, he understood why Caleb kept bringing her up.

Living With the Boy Who Hated Me

Living With the Boy Who Hated Me

"Within twenty-four hours." Someone had been here. Recently. Very recently. — The narrow staircase groaned beneath their weight as they climbed toward the bell. Halfway up, the wooden steps became unstable. Richard remained below while the others continued carefully. Callum reached the top first. The bell hung silently above them. Covered in rust. Forgotten. Aya slowly walked around it. "There has to be something." Callum examined the wooden beams supporting the bell. Nothing. Detective Cruz checked the stone walls.

The Mech

The Mech

A small cord hung from the clapper that allowed the bell to ring. [Please pull the cord when ready.] Ves held the end of the chord and pulled firmly. The bell released a delicate tingling tone, causing the pagoda's fifth story to shine brighter even as its rotation lost its driving force. Like the regular lottery wheel, the pagoda's many sides portrayed various prizes. Ves even recognized a few of their profiles and determined they were mostly lastgen models. This meant that the mechs first saw commercial release in the last thirty to seventy years, which was a fairly good range.
