Novel & Cerita Cursed Ariel

“He’s gone. The Dark Priestess has taken him.” A wave of murmurs spread through the crowd—skepticism, dread, fury. Kael raised a hand, and silence descended once more. “She exploited him to send a warning,” he continued. “She is coming for us. For her.” The room chilled at the name that hung unspoken in the air. Everyone knew who he referred to—Aria. The girl who had altered everything, the enigmatic force linked to the curse they could never fully grasp. Kael’s expression darkened. “She desires Aria because she believes Aria holds the key to breaking the seal that binds her. If she succeeds, she will unleash something far more catastrophic than death upon this realm.”

He gave a few more instructions and then left, leaving me frozen in the room. I can't believe I didn't notice until now. I'm so stupid and clumsy. The name 'Ariel' lit up everything around me like a flash of lightning. This isn't some kind of brave new world, it's a whole new kind of hell. This is the world of 'Katrina's Demise'! Ariel is the evil villain, the Grand Duke, and I'm his unrelated tool-using sister!

Chapter three. The Cursed Union Overwhelmed by Mary’s words, he became light-headed and his legs buckled, causing him to drop to his knees as he looked at the pregnant, frail lady he was about to be forced to marry. She looked at him with sorry eyes while her arms were wrapped around her belly. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to do this to you. It wasn't my fault. I was drugged,” she said sympathetically. Her parent on the other hand, were smiling from ear to ear, overjoyed that their daughter was getting married to the most powerful family in London.

Death draws me towards it like we have been attached with an unbreakable string. Maybe it's just a superpower in which I get the last chance to save the person in front of me or maybe it’s a curse. Particularly a Crimson curse, as I like to call it. Through the years the number of deaths I have seen is greater than my age. You would think that death doesn't affect me anymore. You are right to think that because that is what I had thought until 5 days ago.

My hands itched to grab his neck just like my fangs ached to pierce his neck… My tongue twisted over the thought of tasting Xavier’s blood. Obviously, I wasn't myself. I couldn't help it nor could I understand it. “What do you want, Ariel?” Xavier voiced, kissing my mark and sending me over the edge. “Fuck!” I found myself cussing and I eventually wrapped my hands around his neck, pulling him closer and giving him more access. “I like it when you curse, Ariel. The sound of those words…” Xavier hissed pleasurably. “As they roll out of your mouth, my member tightens.”

"No! No! You can't do that. She is the one who took Arc away from me. It's her that should be-" Ariel screams as the spell hits her. Her veins glow gold, then black. Her fangs vanish. Her power is gone. Her beauty flickers. She collapses, gasping like her lungs are being crushed. It’s done. She’s nothing now. I watch her get dragged away, her eyes finding mine as she disappears down the corridor. They plead for mercy. She’ll find none here. Not after what she did to Aurora. *** I return to the underground chambers later, the guilt curling tighter with every step.

Marcelo spoke again, "This Royal curse is connected to Aria." "What do you mean?" I asked, confused. "Aria is the first blood who beholds all. She is the Narcissa of our time, and it's only a matter of time before different creatures come after her. Her powers are slowly being unleashed," Marcelo explained. "So, you're saying my mate is a powerful curse?" I tilted my head. "No, your mate is a magnet to all entities, both good and bad. Protect her, and forget about the curse. Aria can lift the curse off you with just a snap of her fingers," Marcelo assured me.

She had changed her name and fled to New York to escape the scent of her own cruelty. The pack was stunned. No one expected such darkness from one so young. The Enforcers quickly confirmed the blood-test results, proving Ariel was the one poisoned by the haze. Worse yet, they discovered her parents had forged her lineage papers to make her appear two years younger, fearing the Council would lock her away for her childhood violence. She wasn't a cub at all; she had already passed her eighteenth winter! In a heartbeat, Ariel’s name became a curse in New York. The Enforcers were hunting her through every alley and grove.

“That’s” “Sylara,” Lucien finished. “Your mate. The one we buried.” Aria staggered back, breath catching. “No,” she muttered. “She died. The curse started because she died” Lucien's face hardened. “What if the curse didn’t begin because of her death... but her betrayal?” Kael’s body went rigid. Aria’s head spun. “Are you saying she faked her death?” Lucien nodded slowly. “And she’s back. Somewhere in Bloodfang territory.”

He chuckled at intervals and proceeded to keep his straight face again. “Kyra must survive whatever you all are making her go through '' Jace said, staring at Ariel as he boiled with anger. I could tell he blames the whole incident on Ariel. If only she did not come back. If only she has remained dead like they all thought she was. If only she didn’t walk back into their lives, all these won’t happen. If only.. If only.. So many if only was going through his mind and they all pointed at Ariel. She was the curse of everything. Though, he did not say it. Ariel got the message. He was jolted back to life by Jax’s voice.
