Cursed Ariel Novels & Stories

Harrow. "With you being a half-wolf, half witch hybrid, the marriage was a political masterpiece," Zephyr continued. "But Harrow became greedy. He wanted your power, your soul and the throne. He murdered your mother and our father. He even killed you, or so we thought. He was eventually caught and thrown into the Abyss- a prison with no end. But I received a prophecy, Aina. Two years ago, a vision that you were alive, hidden in this mundane, boring human world. I came for you. And now, my plan is succeeding."

The pearl combs on her head shook as she moved toward Kael, placing her hand on his leather-armored forearm in a desperate attempt to get back control. "Kael, please!" Serena's voice trembled with fake horror, playing perfectly her role of a Luna humiliated in front of the entire pack. "Aria is using strange, foreign sorcery. She desecrates our sacred rites to shame our traditions. She cannot bear that the Moon Goddess chose me as your Luna instead of a maid; now she has resort to insulting our moongoddess. Stop her!"

His gaze swept over the crowd, and I saw the hint of amusement dancing in his eyes. "Let them go?" He chuckled. "After they've turned their backs on their so-called savior? They curse you now. They curse you, Ariel. For dragging them into this. They don't care about you, they just want to be freed." His eyes snapped back to mine, and the amusement faded into something more sinister. "You caused this and this is your punishment. And they will suffer with you." "Please," Alice begged again, her voice shaking. "We–we never participated in any acts of resistance. Release them. Ariel's the only freak here. It's only Ariel… We… we obey the werewolves rule…"

"Back out-" "No, you back off Seb. Are you all happy? The war just begun....your mum has to kneel. Sasha is the queen of all the supernaturals. You just don't defile her and think she will let you go away with it. She has enough connections to wipe us out, us been alive is because of her generosity. We both know the Darc won't condone -" "They are not the Darc-" "Exactly Aiden. They are stronger, they are not the head for no reason. She is the freaking sourde de San for a goddamn reason. You don't know the amount of power- physical power. Powers like fire, air, etc they can will-"

Her form turned to black smoke, her essence stripped into nothing but only two fragments: One: a spark of lightening, too small to light anything but too powerful to be extinguished. Two: A soul, bound and chained sealed for use. And then the child spoke the final line. “Laura. You will be wolfless. You will not receive our parents love. You will be alone. Your mate will leave you. And I will make sure you don’t live to fulfill your role in the prophecy.” The orb burned. “You will be hated by all those who love you now.” The child held up the photo of a girl her age. Silver hair and brown eyes. Laura. “I am making you. The Cursed One.”

Something that always made my stomach turn was that powerful, enticing smell that was distinctively tinged with something dark. My lips parted slightly to take in more of him, but I couldn't stop myself from involuntarily stiffening. In an attempt to calm the unexpected spark of hope that erupted in my chest, I swallowed and lifted my chin.He and his brothers had stood up for me.Now more than ever, he would do so in front of this... stranger. However, Ariel's face brightened as if she had just glimpsed the moon after a year of darkness before I could turn to meet him. She carelessly dropped the champagne flute she was holding onto the closest table and sprinted past me in a single blur."Ari"

‘Because if I had forced my way through to stop him…’ My wolf’s voice trembled from fear. ‘He would have strangled us both to death right then and there.’ I froze, my breath catching in my throat. “What…?” ‘You were too terrified to ask Zarius for the truth, Evelise,’ she whispered, her presence recoiling in panic. ‘So let me tell you.’ “No… no, please, stop. I don’t want to hear this—” ‘The curse isn't just dark magic, Evelise. It’s an ancient, destructive entity—a primordial wolf named Azrael, bound to Zarius.’

he said. "What! It can't be. I was the one he loved at first. Why the sudden twist of fate?" I asked. "You have to understand that the Alpha is under a curse and the only person that can help him break it is that girl and that's why they are bonded together," he explained. "Curse…! I think I have a brief knowledge of that," she said. "I am telling you all this so that you won't feel worse when you find him in the arms of another woman. They are fated mates," he said.

Then the doctor ran in as we stepped back and Xavier growled as he was male, unmated and unmarked as far as we could tell. "I came as quickly as I could, alpha, what's going on?" he asks, looking at the unconscious girl in front of me. A gasp of fear and shock escapes him and he backs away. "You have to kick her out!! I cannot treat her! She's the Cursed Rogue!! She matches the description perfectly! Alpha, she cannot-" I snapped. "SILENCE!" Xavier roared. It was rare for our wolves to actually speak on their own like that without their human counterpart, but in this instance, I was right along with him. The doctor instantly closed his mouth and bowed his head in submission.

“That still doesn’t explain why I’m not healing.” Ariel’s eyes gleamed with satisfaction. “Oh, that.” She let out a soft, almost pitying sigh. “You see, Sierra, I couldn’t let you get too powerful. Not when you’re standing in my way.” My breath caught in my throat. She leaned in slightly, her voice dropping to a whisper. “So I cursed you.” A chill ran down my spine. "You what?" "You heard me." Ariel’s voice was light, almost playful, as if she was enjoying this. "You can’t heal anymore. And if you can’t heal, well… you’ll eventually die."
