I said, “I`ll leave you alone he comes, don’t worry.” The mystery voice was taking too long and I didn't wanna be with the cruel man any longer. We weren't even communicating. By the time I upped and left, he called me to sit with him. How are you? You said no word in the last half an hour. “Where did you get that book?” “Someone recommended I read it, but apparently it misses some pages.” “That’s how they do it.” he said, “The book is cursed, once you read it you belong to the group.”

The man took a seat on the edge of the table, and gently brushed his fingers on their thick covers, staring at them like the most precious thing in the world. “These books are banned from several nations, to people like me they hold no power to cast spells and but with a sorceress like you…” He trailed off and smiled. “You are strange,” Elira spoke her mind, scrutinizing the man. He laughed heartily, basking in her comment like his greatest compliment. “Makes both of us, my lady.” He opened up another book written in an unfamiliar language and underlined some phrases. “Breathe in the words, hold it, and speak what you see.”

I am not letting a curse produce more curses It replays in my head and my chest stings more. Ofcourse curse bring with it pain. I am cursed therefore pain is me.......

She felt it was her responsibility, but she also knew she couldn't fight them alone, but she needed help from others, she thought. She used her curse which was "cursed speech". She was able to make something happen with just a word. If she was to say die to anyone they would die instantly, but that depends on how strong the soul of the person was. She used her cursed speech to curse three swords, that can be used to kill anyone that was cursed, with a stab in the chest. She wanted to do more but she couldn't, the cursed energy was too heavy for her mortal body to behold. The three she did take a toll on her body and she lost her voice. She wasn't able to speak or talk again since that day.

My voice cracked on the words because I was certain that he did love me. Confusion marred her perfect features. “Is he sick?” Because truly, that would be the only other problem. “He's cursed.” I blurted out. “Cursed?” She sounded disbelieving. “Yes, cursed.” I spent the next few minutes explaining Brian's curse, his age, the death of his prior mates, and the future event of my possible death.

Just silence and day and night. I let out a frustrated sigh, dragging my gaze back to the ancient, leather-bound book sprawled open on the table. The BLOOD CURSE. The pages were yellowed, the ink faded in some places, but it was the only thing that made sense right now. Everything in this damned place was chaos, but the curse? The curse was real. And it was the first time I’d come across something that actually related to what had been happening to me. To why I was still here. The more I read, the more I am made to believe I killed Kael.

Then the doctor ran in as we stepped back and Xavier growled as he was male, unmated and unmarked as far as we could tell. "I came as quickly as I could, alpha, what's going on?" he asks, looking at the unconscious girl in front of me. A gasp of fear and shock escapes him and he backs away. "You have to kick her out!! I cannot treat her! She's the Cursed Rogue!! She matches the description perfectly! Alpha, she cannot-" I snapped. "SILENCE!" Xavier roared. It was rare for our wolves to actually speak on their own like that without their human counterpart, but in this instance, I was right along with him. The doctor instantly closed his mouth and bowed his head in submission.
