The Lycan God

The Lycan God

Emotions had run wild between now and then; excitement, disbelief, discontent, rage, and now a thoughtful silence pervading the four walls like a thick blanket that lulls her back to the bay of sleep’s arms. Avian dips the feathered tip into the glass bottle and carefully lowers it onto the page where she had left, just beneath the grotesque sketch of an original Lycanthrope she had attempted whilst still in the throes of energy. “… Average of ten feet tall, five hundred pounds of muscle and fur that is impervious to the war instruments of man.” The high priest stands at the front left, his cheeks like emptied udders that tremble with each breath, “tapetum lucidum…” highly sensitised night v

Magisch Academy: The Heartless Princess

Magisch Academy: The Heartless Princess

said Iris the Goddess of the rainbow and messenger of the Gods, as she felt tension building around the twins. "We didn't come down here to have a fight so you better shut your mouth Nemesis," said Hecate the Goddess of magic, crossroads, and ghosts, using a serious and threatening tone. "Tsk," Nemesis said then grinned. "I apologize for my sister's rudeness," said Tyche the Goddess of good luck and fortune, then smiled sweet. "It's okay," said Zyrene and forced a smile that made Klein suddenly looked at Zyrene for what she said. Klein would have objected when Zyrene gives Klein a warning look.

The witch and her wolf series

The witch and her wolf series

I ask. "Well yeah they have the same meaning, the same nature and are both believed to be early fertility goddesses, but they are not totally the same. Freja is also associated with magic and war. She receives half of the fallen warriors, the other half goes to Odin". He is using his hands alot explaining. He continues. "Afrodite sticks to things concerning love and the feminine beauty. In Cyprus she was worshipped as the foam-born goddess, she had a connection to the sea there, but in Nordic mythology that job falls to Freja's father, Njord".

Shifted Fate

Shifted Fate

She held out her arms as Selene came over. “She is beautiful.” The Moon Goddess preened as she slid the bundled baby into her sister’s arms. “What is her name?” Hecate pulled the baby into her arms as her body shifted from Maiden to Mother. Her features grew older, and a new sadness enveloped her. “Ciran. I’ll call her Ciran.” She rubbed her fingers down the baby’s face. “He found his mate, hasn’t he…that’s why he hasn’t returned?” The Moon Goddess closed her eyes and blew out a breath. “I’m sorry, sister.” She opened her eyes, which were filled with bright tears. “If I could change it, I would.”

I LOVED the 5 chapters I read. The author found a different path than the usual werewolf novel. HOWEVER! Unlike most novels or book clubs, when you reach a certain point, you have the option of buying credit, joining the club, OR watching ads. MINUS TEN STARS for no ad reading option. Pure greed.

I’d love for Amy and Rowan’s story to continue. Rebuilding the kingdom, righting all the wrongs… life between Amy’s story and Carly’s. Then Carly’s story. I’d even love some character stories as standalone. I love the world you’ve created. I’m daydreaming of the future of this world so much! <3

The Chosen Series: A Deadly Obsession

The Chosen Series: A Deadly Obsession

I ask incredulously. “Enyo? That’s your wolf’s name?” She asks, and I respond with a nod. “The waster of cities… Interesting…” Luna Rachel trails off, a faraway look coming across her face. She then stands abruptly and heads over to the bookshelf in the office. “You know, in Greek mythology, Athena and Enyo were both daughters of Zeus. However, Enyo was a goddess of war and destruction, bringing fear to anyone against her on the battlefield. While Athena was a goddess of both wisdom and war, among other things. Almost like the opposite of what Enyo represented, and she was even feared by Enyo’s lover, Ares…” Luna Rachel trails off again as she flips through a book, looking for something.

A Slave To Submit [Alpha + Omega Romance]

A Slave To Submit [Alpha + Omega Romance]

“Welcome to our 45th Gauntlet Games!–” Loud cheers erupted, hooting and roars. At the side of the dais, the four visiting Alphas stood in a row, preening at their supporters. Well–all except Alpha Odys. His expression remained blank. “–As is tradition, we’ll kick off the games with the hunt for the Ceryneian Hind.” The Ceryneian was a monstrous fire-snorting doe with a spotted hide and large golden antlers. It was a powerful mystical relic kept at Lyklos Keep that would come to life when placed in the heart of a forest. Once animated, it would roam until captured, after which it would return to its statuesque state.

The Destroyer

The Destroyer

She was still breathing, just had finally lost the battle with consciousness, head laying back on my arm, body slack against me, supported only by my arms and chest. I was used to whispering to people talking about me behind my back. I ignored them as always. "Ismene-Eirene?" I asked, realizing she'd gone slack in my arms. "You there... healer of Apollo." my voice took on a commanding tone as I pointed to one of the surgeons. "This woman needs treatment. The chimera attacked her.” I explained as a healer rushed over. Something tells me he didn’t want to risk angering me by having me wait. "She is Ismene-Eirene, daughter of Leander and Elaine. She got separated from someone named Rae and Alka

A very good read but the ending was suddenly abrupt. After not having an update for longer than normal, I came to check the comments to see if others were clamoring for updates only to see that the story status now said completed. That said, I hope to see other stories set in this world.

What a brilliant and enjoyable read. Fantastic characters, great storyline, definitely a book I could not put down and would happily keep reading if there were more chapters! Looking forward to reading a sequel very soon in the future, thank you author!
