Magisch Academy: The Heartless Princess

RAVEN'S POV

"HEY! Girl! Did you know that Scott was kicked out in this school?" the woman whispered to the girl beside her

"There's nothing new about that. What do you expect from her? She's a freak." the girl beside her replied

And I heard a lot of rumors about me being kicked out of the school. I am now at home and currently looking for a new school to go to again. Several hours later I had never seen a school because I already got kicked out of every university in my area and almost everything I kicked out.

By the way, I'm Akisha Raven Scott. 19 years old. My parents already died when I was 5. Well, they are not my real parents because I was just adopted. I have only been educating and living by myself since my poster parents already died. 

If you’ll ask me how I live without a parent my answer will be I already got used to it. I’m already used to being alone so I don’t need anyone. I took my laptop and looked for any possible school that I could go to because almost all of the schools that I found are my former schools and all of them ended me being kicked out. And when I couldn't find any school that I could go to I already closed my laptop and messed my hair out of frustration.

I don’t really know what to do anymore! Fuck this life! I’d better get some sleep. I’ll just think about it tomorrow about which school I'll go to.

WHEN I woke up, I did my morning rituals. I went to the terrace of my apartment to breathe some fresh air. I was about to enter again when suddenly something caught my eye. I turned around and I saw a black envelope flying in the wind. I saw it coming towards me and I caught it when it fell in front of me. I immediately opened the envelope to see what it was all about. I saw a golden-colored paper inside of the envelope and I unfolded the paper to see what was written on it. And I got shocked when I read what was written in the paper.

'Dear Miss Scott,

We would like to invite you to enroll in Magisch Academy. You don't have to worry about the tuition fee or any expenses because everything is free in the academy. We will also give you a monthly allowance. And there's already a dormitory here so you don’t have to worry about where you will live during your stay here.

It will be our pleasure if you will accept our invitation. If you already decided to accept our invitation then just fill-up the form below. There will be a man that will fetch you tomorrow for you to be able to go here.

I immediately folded the paper after reading what’s inside of it. Magisch Academy huh? What a weird name? Should I accept it or not? What if it’s a scam? Or a trap from my enemies? But do I have a choice? I no longer have a school to go to and I especially do not want to stop studying. 

I sat on my bed and took my ballpen inside the drawer and when I finished filling up the paper it suddenly got burned to ashes. What the hell just happened? I immediately shook my head and shrugged it off, the most important thing is I already got myself to school. I started packing my things and got some money from my vault and put it in my bag.

I took a bath and left my apartment to go to the mall. I have some things to buy that I know can help me to have a peaceful stay in the academy. When I arrived at the mall, people immediately looked in my direction. Well, I’m already used to it. I just walked as if their stares and gossiping are nothing.

Tsk. I really hate attention. I became even more determined to buy the things that I’m planning to buy.

I'm just walking with my usual poker face. I'm not a happy-go-lucky person. I'm a cold and heartless person. I'm the true definition of a demon and a bitch. A great combination isn't it?

I also don't make friends because I know someday they will just leave you. They will just come into your life to leave you alone in the end. The more you give importance to others the more you give them the right to hurt you. And I won't let that happen. Never again. I don't need others, I can live on my own. I don't do love. Love isn't existing in my world and it will never be. When you’re kind, people around you will just take advantage of it. I already learned from the best.

After I bought what I needed I immediately went home and went to sleep. I can feel it tomorrow my life will change. When I opened my eyes I immediately did my morning rituals. I took a shower and started fixing myself. I used the things that I bought yesterday at the mall. Maybe you’re wondering what I bought yesterday. Well, I just bought things for my disguise.

Yes, you read it right I’ll put a disguise because I planned to disguise myself as an ugly nerd. For what? For me to have a peaceful and quiet stay in the academy. I got kicked out in my previous schools because I always got into trouble because of the face I had, they always said that I’m a freak. I can’t get myself kicked out of that school because I don’t have a school to go to anymore. There’s no school that would accept me if I wasn't able to graduate here because I already had too many bad records. I decided to pretend to be kind while disguising as a nerd. I’ll control myself if I have to but there’s a limitation in everything that goes the same with my patience. If I get tired of their attitudes, hell will surely break loose. 

But it doesn’t mean that I’ll hold back, I’ll not retaliate. I’ll just give them a dose of their own medicine. I put a fake skin that was color brown in my whole body to hide my skin that looks like snow. I put curly hair that has full bangs. The color of it was black enough to hide my pink hair. I hate the color of my hair. It's too girly! I use a contact lens that is colored light blue to hide my pink eyes. I know I'm a freak but who the hell cares! As if it was my goddamn fault to have this kind of eyes. Well, I always put a contact lens on even before. Having an odd hair color and extreme beauty is enough. I don’t want to become more of a freak in other people’s eyes. I also put on big eyeglasses that have no grade and a brace and then viola! I’m done! I really looked like an ugly nerd right now. I also bought old clothes but of course, I also bought some proper clothes that are actually my style.

When I looked at myself in the mirror I could no longer recognize it. I look so ugly right now that is far from my ethereal beauty. I’m so great! My looks seem so real.

After I tidied up, someone rang the bell. I weakened my aura so that could look even weaker. I immediately took the gun under my pillow and hid it on my back. Well, I have a lot of weapons hidden in every corner of my apartment. It’s better to be safe than sorry. When I opened it, I saw a big man who looked like a foreigner or maybe he really is. He looks like a black American and he is even wearing shades. He perfectly looks like one of the characters in the movie Men in black. I became more alert and immediately put my hand behind and grabbed my gun and was ready to shoot him down if he does something funny.

"Are you Ms. Scott?" the man asked

He’s really a foreigner, he has an accent.

"Yes," I answered

"I'm the one that is assigned to fetch you from Magisch Academy," he said which makes me let go of the gun in my back.

"Oh! Wait I'm just going to get my things." I said and got my bag. I only brought one bag, I’ll just buy some more when I get there because I only brought a few things. I just brought the important ones. I immediately went out and closed my apartment. I turned to the man and gave him a fake smile.

“Let’s go,” I said 

We stopped at a beautiful Ferrari car. I immediately went inside the car and did not wait for him to open the door for me. What for? My hands are still completely fine. Tsk. I put on my earphones and just listened to the music because it seems that we will have a long ride to go.
