“When can you?” “Today.” She grinned and dragged me to the back. Club Royale was one of the top clubs in the city and anyone who was anyone always visited here. Neon lights flashed around as Cathy pulled me deeper into the place. I greeted her sister, Maddy, changed quickly, and before I knew it, the club was filling up. Music pulsed through the floor, lights dim and heavy. Before I started off officially, Maddy was kind enough to run me through the basic rules of the place. I needed to smile more to attract customers. Conversation worked too, and I could always call for backup if things were about to go out of hand.

Busted. I stared at my phone, suddenly wondering if I had gone too far. He looked… annoyed. Just as I hesitated, a new message popped up from Liam. It was a sticker—a cartoon puppy in a yellow hat, eagerly nodding over a water bowl, and above its head were two bold words: "Mm-hmm!" I froze. A bold thought suddenly struck me— was Liam seriously searching for a cute sticker to send me just now? The very next message confirmed my suspicion.

A week after, Jimmy and Lord Nylian were having breakfast alone. The table was silent, only the sound of the juice glasses and cutlery setting on the marble table could be heard. The Duke was reading Dreamy Day, the number one newspaper in the kingdom. The writers and editors made sure to include all the things that happen daily in Fantasia, such as the next game of Golden Basket; it's the same concept as the regular Basketball game on Earth, except that it's played in the air. The players are mostly fairies or creatures that have wings. They must pass a kind of silver balloon and throw it on the golden basket that floated peacefully in the air.

After a hard day’s work, Madchen, Nick and Kimber headed to their favorite bar, close to the beach. The sunset was beautiful as usual. They sipped on their beers as they watched it disappear into the water’s silver hues, while playing a friendly game of pool. The winner always played the next opponent. This was usually Nick, with Kimber and Madchen taking turns. It was all in good fun however, and the three friends talked and laughed as they played. Madchen took a break, heading to the outside bar on the beach. It was Kimber’s turn, and Madchen wanted a margarita. As she was sitting there relaxing and enjoying the moment, she felt a large hand on her shoulder.

Jay hissed. “There’s not a thing in this world that I actually care about.” Monster appeared indifferent. “Is that so? What about your daughter?” Jay sat up straight. His profound pupils were locked onto Monster’s eyes. Monster’s smile froze slightly. “I don’t have a daughter.” He suddenly roared like thunder. Jay curled his lips. “Why are you getting stirred up?” He crossed his legs again, calmly admiring Monster’s current ugly state. Monster realized that he had lost his temper and forced himself to calm down. However, he could not help but ask, “Is Lil Thirteen dead or alive?”
