***Daisy's POV.*** I get ready in a rose gold sequin bodycon gown which has a cold shoulder short sleeve and choker neck. I wear the crescent moon earrings which my parents gifted me today. As I fluff my hair, my mind goes back to this afternoon when that thought invaded my mind. I love kids and so does Theo. However, we just started our relationship and we both are so busy that I feel we won’t be able to make space for that baby. I would do anything to have Theo’s babies, but it is very early. Daisy flounced in with a glittering pink robe flying behind her, boa in place, sunglasses on indoors like she was dodging paparazzi. Chloe stumbled in right after, juggling a box of pastries and a bottle of sparkling juice with glitter already smeared on her cheeks like war paint. "Your fairy godwhores have arrived!" Daisy declared.

They were holding a bouquet of flowers, their faces full of joy and excitement. "Sweetheart, you're finally home!" Mom rushed over and threw her arms around me. My nose stung. Tears welled up in my eyes as I choked, "Mom, I missed you so much." Dad came over too, placing a gentle hand on my shoulder. "You're home now. That's all that matters." The three of us hugged tightly, like we were trying to make up for the six years we'd missed. Just then, my phone rang again. An unfamiliar number flickered on the screen.

The voice came from behind us, pulling my attention just in time to see Daisy walking toward us, flanked by two other women. I immediately returned the ladies to be Kylie and Hailey Simpson. Hollywood’s picture-perfect nepo sisters, famous for being born into the right family and looking like they stepped out of a luxury campaign. I arched a brow. Since when was Daisy friends with them? She’d only been in the industry for a year. Daisy’s gaze landed on me, sliding down my dress with the kind of slow, disapproving scan as if I’d shown up wrapped in recycled grocery bags.

The music continued to play in the background, building the tension. "Group" he called out, his voice dripping with drama, before pausing once more. The room fell silent, so quiet that a pin dropping would have been audible. Even the DJ seemed to sense the moment, cutting off the music. "6" the MC announced, his voice ringing out through the silence. For a moment, I thought I'd misheard. "D × D. Drake and Daisy" he yelled, his voice bursting forth like a dam breaking.
