Daisy Jones & The Six Novels & Stories

“And I’d like to ask the birthday girl and her boyfriend to accept this next song from their friends as their future shared song—since they don’t have one yet. Ashley, Daryl, this one’s for you.” She signaled the DJ, the music started, and Diane and Daryl began dancing in the center of the circle that had formed. Jenny stayed up there, the DJ still chatting her up.I went to get her. “Babe, care to dance?” I asked as I reached her. “Of course. Thanks for the help, Pete,” she smiled at the guy and took my hand. We stepped down and joined the dancers. “He’s into you, you know that, right?” I said, nodding toward the DJ.

All of them pointing toward something I couldn't see the shape of clearly. I thought about calling Priya. Just to hear a voice that had nothing to do with contracts or trusts or hidden timelines. I didn't call. I wasn't sure yet how to explain any of it. Not without sounding like I'd lost my mind somewhere between the practice room and this parking garage. Instead I drove home in silence, the radio off, my thoughts loud enough on their own. Sixty days. Dana Marsh. A fifteen-thousand-dollar number that had started this whole thing and now felt like the smallest part of it.

Dylan is in classic black, Adam is in midnight blue that matches my dress, and James is in charcoal gray. Wow. They really know how to clean up nicely. “Hi ladies,” Dylan greets, flashing us a warm smile as his eyes sweep over Ria and Suzy. When his eyes land on me, his smile grows. “Daisy, you’re going to cause a few heart attacks tonight.” “Just a few? That's sad. I was aiming for at least a dozen.” I tease. Adam laughs, offering his arm to Suzy. “May we escort you lovely ladies inside?”

A chill fell over both of them at that final word. “No... Do you?” Alexus stepped around a big tree, picking up her pace to catch up with Daisy and looking closely for anything that might help them. “Nope.” Daisy kept walking, looking around at everything. What would they do if they did manage to find her? It’s not like it’s worth putting up a fight. They thought of options as they walked, hoping they’d get the chance to at least try. After the bath, June felt better than she has all year. Sophia helped her get dressed into a soft silky light pink dress that fit her perfectly and reached the floor. They slipped on a nice white pair of small heels and braided her hair to perfection.

"If you get bit, you die. Simple as that." "You guys, nobody is going to get bit. The soldiers are here to protect us. Don't forget that," Daisy says, sitting across from her sister Rose. Daisy and Rose Adams are seventeen year old fraternal twins, but they definitely don't look like they'd even be related. Daisy has short, light blonde hair, and Rose has waist-length dark red hair that is usually kept in a single braid for convenience. Daisy is more pear-shaped while Rose is a bit thinner. They both have wide-set light blue eyes that have developed a hard edge in the past six months.

I leaned back on the couch, watching her expression darken as she pulled out her phone and began giving orders. "Search everywhere. I don’t care what it takes. Find him. "As for Ryker’s leg, when is Dr. Simon Hayes returning? The moment he’s back, bring him here. We can’t delay this any longer. "Keep a close eye on Alannah. Let her company know who she’s dealing with."

I won’t need it today, but its presence is a reminder that everything we fought for—the blood, the danger, the betrayals—has led to this moment. A soft knock on the door makes me look up. Before anyone speaks, Daisy bursts into the room, spinning slightly, her long chestnut hair bouncing around her shoulders. She is dressed in a deep sapphire gown, cinched at the waist, its skirt sweeping elegantly across the floor. Her hair is braided loosely on one side, small silver pins keeping the strands in place, and her eyes shine brighter than any jewel in the room.

he said lightly, “how’s it going with Team Simon?” Daisy let out a breath that sounded suspiciously like a groan. “Ugh. Not good. Not good at all. In fact—” she paused, lips tightening, “—he hasn’t been picking her calls.” Johnson’s brows lifted. “Really?” She nodded. “And Damon is telling me he’s so in there with Chelle.” Daisy froze. “What?” Johnson turned to her fully now. “You heard me.” She scoffed, shaking her head. “You’re joking.”

***Daisy's POV.*** I get ready in a rose gold sequin bodycon gown which has a cold shoulder short sleeve and choker neck. I wear the crescent moon earrings which my parents gifted me today. As I fluff my hair, my mind goes back to this afternoon when that thought invaded my mind. I love kids and so does Theo. However, we just started our relationship and we both are so busy that I feel we won’t be able to make space for that baby. I would do anything to have Theo’s babies, but it is very early. Or maybe I am worrying about nothing.

Gross. Then the door burst open with the full force of a Broadway opening number. "WE’RE HEEEEEERE, BITCHES!" Daisy flounced in with a glittering pink robe flying behind her, boa in place, sunglasses on indoors like she was dodging paparazzi. Chloe stumbled in right after, juggling a box of pastries and a bottle of sparkling juice with glitter already smeared on her cheeks like war paint. "Your fairy godwhores have arrived!" Daisy declared.
