Damon looked at the folder, a smug smile spreading across his face. "Elena, I knew you'd come around. Is this a request to reinstate our bond?" He didn't open it right away, instead leaning back on the sofa, savoring the feeling of control. "Was it seeing me with Isabella tonight that finally made you realize your mistake?" I watched him, my face a blank mask. "Aren't you going to look at it?" "In a minute." He crossed his legs, acting as if he held all the cards. "Elena, I can give you one more chance. If you sincerely apologize and admit that your behavior tonight was wrong, I might consider taking you back."

Barely a brush. “There,” she said, pulling back, her voice trembling. “Satisfied?” Dante’s expression didn’t change, but his eyes burned with something fierce. He caught her wrist gently, not hurting, just holding her still. “That was a kiss of obligation,” he murmured. “Cold. Empty. Try again.” Emilia’s lips parted, sparking outrage. “You can’t—” “I can.” His voice was final, leaving no room for argument. “Do it properly, or tomorrow your father wakes to find the debt unpaid.”

Damien really knew about how obsessed she is with him. "Yes. Yes, I do." Elle said and immediately, Damien picked her up. That was everything he needed to hear from her. He bent his head and kissed her. Elle kissed him back, like it was going to be the last time. She raised her head and continued kissing him. Before he got to his room, he saw Alex and he instantly ordered him to stay outside, out of his business.

I gulped down the fruity beverage with one sip and almost choked at the end. Mr Arrogant patted my backside until I felt good enough and then he came to my view, still smiling like he won a war. Ethan screamed from the other side of the door, "You used dark magic to fool the Goddess! It was an accident! Elara is mine! Give her back to me now!" Damon walked to the door, a mocking smile on his lips.

Elena leaned against the closed door of her apartment, her heart still pounding from Damien’s kiss. She touched her lips, her skin tingling from the warmth he’d left behind. It was as if the entire evening had been a dream, one she wasn’t quite ready to wake up from.

Damon didn’t sleep. Again. The sheets still smelled like her. Or maybe it was a memory. Either way, it strangled him. That kiss… It was nothing like before. It wasn’t love. It was punishment. And God help him—he wanted more of it. His lips still burned with the weight of her mouth. Her breath. Her words. “This kiss isn’t forgiveness. It’s evidence.” He replayed it a thousand times. Damian didn't answer immediately. Then I heard him say, “Then that's her choice.” My fingers curled tighter around the bottle. A few seconds passed before Isabella spoke again. “Are you angry with her?” “No.” His answer came quickly. “She just needs time.” “And if she doesn't come back?” There was another pause. Then Damian's voice softened. “Whatever happens with Elena, Bella, I'm not going anywhere. You know that.” My heart dropped. Isabella gave a small sniffle. “Promise?”
