Mated To The Blood Alpha

Mated To The Blood Alpha

With those words, I shoved the thought about finding my mate aside and buried myself with work, even if there wasn't much work to do. "Take it," She brought it closer to me, a few inches to my face. Grabbing the fragile dandelion in my large hand, I stared at it in confusion, "What am I supposed to do with it and how is it supposed to make my wishes come true?" I asked, twirling the stem around. "Don't do that," She cautioned, "You will make the seeds fall," "Yes ma'am," I giggled, admiring her bossy attitude. "Legend has it that when you wish on a dandelion by blowing one puff of air, your wishes will come true," She explained, smiling proudly.

Seasmoke Friends

My mother wanted to take this all away. I glanced at the curved gravel driveway and smiled, remembering leaping into my father's arms as a child when he'd returned from work. If I closed my eyes, I could still feel that ripple of pleasure at hearing the tires crunch when he pulled in. The black-eyed Susans and coneflowers were pleasantly scattered near that bend by the road. I couldn't see them just now, but knew they were there. Dandelions adorned the ankle high grass on the front lawn in front of me. I didn't care to disturb them, even though they would come back every year with their happy color. I always found it amusing that, when they wilted, I could wish on them. They would scatter mo

Mated to Rival Kings

Mated to Rival Kings

"Would you like to take a walk in the garden? The greenhouse is nice, but the outdoor paths are open to us today." "I’d love to," I said, closing my book. We walked out into the sun-drenched gardens. The air was crisp, but the sun was warm on my shoulders. As we walked, Darian began to talk about Southern poetry. "In the South, we believe that words have their own scent," he explained as we passed a row of blooming lilies. "We have poets who spend their entire lives trying to capture the feeling of the first rain after a drought. They use a structure called 'The Golden Verse'. It’s patterned, like a heartbeat."

THE POSSESSIVE ALPHA KING AND HIS FATED QUEEN

THE POSSESSIVE ALPHA KING AND HIS FATED QUEEN

“Remembers, my lady?” Audrey said, her voice distant with memory, “I told him dandelions were my favorite because they grow wherever the wind takes them — never too proud for any soil.” Greer sighed dreamily. “If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is.” Astrid groaned. “If this is love, it’s exhausting.” Their laughter followed her quip, light and melodic. But when Elijah drew a folded parchment from within his coat and held it out to Audrey, the laughter faded to hush.

A Queen Among Tides

A Queen Among Tides

I say haughtily. “Like how visums are cursed with immortality?” she says slowly. “Yes,” I sing out. “And how, as part of their curse, they can’t die, and the only thing that can kill them is exposure to bitterwort?” she asks, folding her arms and giving me a pointed look. I chew the inside of my cheek, “I might have forgotten that part. What was bitterwort again?” I ask in confusion. “Dandelion.” “Ah, that’s right! So I had a temporary brain fart, was I supposed to just let him continue to drown whether it would kill him or not?” I argue back.

Another amazing book! I feel as though each book is my favorite in this series and I love the representation. This particular author has an amazing way of challenging vernacular and using it to empower her characters. Her world building has you vested in the outcome of the story and characters.

Another excellent book! I couldn't put it down that I finished reading it in a day. anxiously waiting for book 6 to finish--not a fan of cliffhangers:) Or I may go back and re-read the series while I wait.

Abnormally Normal

after everything I went through, still just insults I did my study on those creatures for years, and I can still remember some of my favourite poetry and poems I read as a kid A Last Word by Ernest Dowson Let us go hence: the night is now at hand; The day is overworn, the birds all flown; And we have reaped the crops the gods have sown; Despair and death; deep darkness o'er the land, Broods like an owl; we cannot understand Laughter or tears, for we have only known Surpassing vanity: vain things alone Have driven our perverse and aimless band. Let us go hence, somewhither strange and cold, To Hollow Lands where just men and unjust Find end of labour, where's rest for the old, Freedom to all

Just need to be edited, overall I love it, it has it's originality, it's start like some crazy sitcom and ends up having this climax, my favourite character has to be Goblin, I like how you portrayed his character, he's someone who was hurt because of the werewolves and vampires issues, overall nice

Joining His Voyage

Joining His Voyage

Hindi naman mahirap pakisamahan ang mga tao dito pero ayoko naman na mailang sila sa akin. I tried to figure out where is the way to go there. I followed a trail and it leads me to the place that I'm trying to find. There's a big tree, and a wide open space. All I can see from there is the port, the sea, and the sky. It calms me. Umupo ako sa damuhan. I waited for the sun to rise. I picked a dandelion beside me. "I wish to see my family again," I whispered before closing my eyes my blowed the dandelion.

The Forbidden Daffodil

The Forbidden Daffodil

When it comes down to thinking about Love, people get confused. I am taking the dance shoes you bought once from me. I am taking a few more things with me which will remain with me forever. In return I have nothing to give you except some painful memories from my end. But I grew a small bunch of Daffodils down there at the side of the lawn these days. Take care of them as they were my favourite. You know Daffodil means rebirth or hope. They struggle through the winter to come in Spring in order to decorate our nature with its colour of happiness.

Master of Life and Death

Master of Life and Death

This poem is titled Blossom. "The recklessness of youth led to the missed opportunities with the ladies. How I long to seek love, but there are no longer blossoms to be had." Smiling, he asked everyone, "Don't you think it's an excellent poem?" Griffin was sorely tempted to smack Dunley. Like hell it was! Just moments ago, he'd been deeply worried that an enemy was approaching. Who would've thought that Dunley simply wanted silence so that he could come up with a poem?

The Lion Queen of Business in Reverse

The Lion Queen of Business in Reverse

She paused for a moment, glancing round to make sure everyone was listening to her. "You guys say we're like dandelions, barely surviving. But ladies, in case you forgot, dandelions are such tough plants. They can survive in the harshest of environments, even growing out of cracks in the rocks. Moreover, their seeds can float with the wind and spread to faraway places." Alicia gave a meaningful smile, "So, if we really are like dandelions, then I think that's the greatest compliment we can get. We will survive and thrive in any environment."
