Scars She Carries, Love She Deserves

Scars She Carries, Love She Deserves

Lila grinned, triumphant, and skipped away again with the grace only a six-year-old could manage. Elena looked down at the dandelion in her hand. Simple. Wild. Resilient. A flower most people overlooked. Called a weed. Tried to root out. But it stood anyway. Just like her. Just like her little hummingbird. She watched Lila’s small figure darting between the trees, always in motion, always chasing the next bit of light. Fragile in body. Fierce in spirit. Delicate, but unstoppable. Her reason. Her fire. Her anchor.

When Mates Collide

When Mates Collide

“Who are you, people?” A female in her late thirties stepped forward, with long dark hair covering one of her dusky nipples as she knelt on one knee. She inspected his blue eyes like she couldn’t believe what she was seeing. “I’m Lung.” She reached over and slid a finger along his wet cheek, cupping under his chin. Her touch was motherly and welcome. “You don’t know what you are, do you?” He shook his head. “You are special, Darrell. That’s what you are.” And with finality, fifteen-year-old Danny added, “And you have a new family now.”

Mated To The Blood Alpha

Mated To The Blood Alpha

With those words, I shoved the thought about finding my mate aside and buried myself with work, even if there wasn't much work to do. "Take it," She brought it closer to me, a few inches to my face. Grabbing the fragile dandelion in my large hand, I stared at it in confusion, "What am I supposed to do with it and how is it supposed to make my wishes come true?" I asked, twirling the stem around. "Don't do that," She cautioned, "You will make the seeds fall," "Yes ma'am," I giggled, admiring her bossy attitude. "Legend has it that when you wish on a dandelion by blowing one puff of air, your wishes will come true," She explained, smiling proudly.

The Kidnapped Alpha

The Kidnapped Alpha

She yelled her thoughts out. " The evil one?" Lord Duncan chirped in, the calm man who rarely got angry just like his nephew was angry already. The kind of anger he was feeling for this insolent and mannerless girl was out of the world. " What else are you if not evil? You killed your own sister? For what? Kaden said something a while ago, you took Daria's identity but did you do the same with her character? If you had wanted him to like your evil self so badly, you should have at least stolen her character too!" Duncan yelled.

the story has a great pace and flow. it's a Great read. one of the scenes that stood out the most to me was when Daria was looking for her sound I felt that scene so much. I have a love hate with Kaden but that intrigues me more. I can't wait to see where this book goes!

Books like this need more readers and reviews too. I love the starting already since I'm just starting. The characters development, the role they played and the story plot is well written in a good style. Ride on, dear author.

Delilah

Delilah

I felt my heart aching, I felt tears steering up in my eyes. I wasn’t gonna cry not because of a man I didn’t know! I am not that weak, not because of this. “Oh, nice to meet you, Alice!.” I said with the most convincing smile I could offer. I sat beside them, I watched as Alice played with Aidens blonde hair. ^^^^ { This is horrible!!.} Marshal said through the mind link. { Luna is extremely quiet, she hasn’t said a thing!} Liam mind-linked Marshal.

Torn Between The Alpha And The Lycan King

Torn Between The Alpha And The Lycan King

"Maybe I can consider it before heading with my men to Maddox to give him the war he is so afraid of." His eyes danced around for a time. "Not to put a dent to her name, but have you not considered it strange that a lion appeared right after we found a Dandelion addressed as a gift to Lessia? Even the words rhyme. I suspect they're linked and they're some sort of twisted joke only the perpetrator would find funny." I knew what he was driving at. The Dandelion and the lion appearing at nearly the same time, did not seem to be separated events. But it all seemed to still point back at Maddox.

REJECTED BY ALPHA, LOVED BY LYCAN KING

REJECTED BY ALPHA, LOVED BY LYCAN KING

The air was alive with the ethereal fluff of dandelion seeds, carried by the wind like tiny messengers on a mission. Seated in the middle of the meadow, I plucked a dandelion, and its seeds swirled around me like ethereal fairies. Daniel's voice whispered, "The dandelion has chosen you. Make a wish." With closed eyes, I silently wished for the enduring prosperity of our kingdom and gently blew on the delicate seed, watching it float away. When I opened my eyes again, I noticed Daniel watching me attentively. He approached and sat in front of me, his gaze unwavering. His eyes sparkled, and I yearned to understand his thoughts at that moment.

Betrayed by His Mate

Betrayed by His Mate

But in her ears, why does it sound sultry and sexy? He put his arms over her as they headed out to the garden. To the one with wildflowers and overlooking the river and houses along with it. “Here, bow it.” Ciel handed a piece of dandelion to her as she took the step from his hand and blew it. They watched as the wind carried them. “Here,” Dominick said coldly as he picked up more of it in a short time and he pushed Ciel away. “Now you look childish.” She said and didn’t accept it to hurt him. She smirked when she turned back as she could see that his hands crumbled the dandelions. She hates him.

Frequently Asked Questions

You’ll meet a messy, lovable tangle of people in 'Dandelion Is Dead', and the core four are the ones who drive the whole impossible, heartbreaking premise. Poppy Greene is the lead: a thirtysomething photographer who’s grieving her sister and makes the wild choice to reply to a message on her late sister’s dating app. Dandelion herself is central even when she isn’t physically present—her personality and choices ripple through the plot as the sister everyone remembers and argues about. Jake is the man on the other end of that old message, the one who falls for the person he thinks is Dandelion and then has to face the truth when things go sideways. Sam rounds out the immediate quartet as Poppy’s live-in boyfriend, whose pressure and expectations complicate everything for her. Beyond those four, the book blooms with secondary figures who bring out different sides of Poppy and Jake. Jetta is Poppy and Dandelion’s fiercely loyal friend and shows up as a stabilizing, often sharp counterpoint to Poppy’s hesitation; readers and reviewers single her out as a scene-stealer. Jake’s life includes a young son and an ex-wife whose presence and choices affect his decisions, and there are smaller but meaningful players like a colleague who once dated Dandelion, family members, and friends named throughout the reader’s guide and reviews (Stefan, Yan, Zoe, Billy, and Jake’s dad are among the supporting names mentioned). These characters aren’t just window dressing: they force reckonings, reveal secrets, and help the story move from an odd conceit into something emotionally honest. One last practical note: the novel is by Rosie Storey and it’s presented as a contemporary, grief-forward love story that leans into moral ambiguity—people make bad choices, hurt each other, and are still achingly human. If you want a clean romance you won’t get one; if you like complicated character work where the missing sister is almost a presence you can feel on every page, this delivers. I found the roster of characters vivid and vividly imperfect, which made the book hard to put down even when I was annoyed at some of them — and that, to me, is a mark of a story doing its job.
