Alpha King's Unmated Sister-in-law

Alpha King's Unmated Sister-in-law

She wished she could whisk him away and kiss him some more, drink in the light of his eyes to her content, but that would have to wait until he recovered and was stronger again. Having him here like this was enough for now. She couldn't ask for anything more from the Moon Goddess, if it was the goddess's hand indeed who had let her keep him. That dream, she remembered it so vividly even now. And Marten's haunting words that Daniel should never have made it this long without the cure -- no coincidence, was it? Daniel held a thick book and murmured things under his breath. Beth crept closer, curious. "What is that?" she asked. "What are you reading?"

WHICH MAN STAYS?

WHICH MAN STAYS?

This was a violent, vengeful hope. “She’ll come for him,” I whispered. “She’ll eat him alive,” Martin corrected. “That company was her father’s life’s work. Daniel stole it from her while she was in a cell. She knows every secret, every dirty deal he’s done to make himself look good for the board. She has nothing left to lose, Liam. She can say anything.” I started pacing, the energy crackling under my skin. “He thinks he’s untouchable. He thinks he’s finally put everyone in their place.”

While reaching for a water bottle on the nightstand, he accidentally knocked over the desk lamp. Crash! "Daniel, are you okay?!" "Yeah, just stop startling me."

THE BILLIONAIRE HIDDEN SIN

THE BILLIONAIRE HIDDEN SIN

Certainly! Here is Chapter 94 from Daniel’s point of view, with a minimum of 1000 words: Daniel's POV The silence in my office is deafening. No phone calls, no emails, just the faint hum of the city outside my window and the pounding of my own thoughts. I stare at the wall, trying to keep my mind from spiraling, but the truth keeps creeping in an ugly, relentless truth I’ve been avoiding for weeks. Edwin’s confrontation in the rain haunted me. His eyes, his anger, his pain they all reflected my own. But beneath that, beneath the betrayal and the heartbreak, there’s something else I need to face. Something I’ve kept buried, even from myself.

The Revenge Of The Betrayed Bride

The Revenge Of The Betrayed Bride

“Hope you like roommates, Daniel. Because I’m not leaving. That Same Day Damien’s Mansion Daniel strolled into the grand hall, his smirk already in place. “Well, well, look who’s finally out of prison the one and only Katherina Rodriguez,” he drawled. Katherina’s eyes narrowed. “You didn’t bother to visit me once. Not even once.” Daniel laughed lightly. “Are you insane? Or just plain delusional? In case you forgot, I was in prison too alongside with you” Katherina crossed her arms. “Oh really? How did you manage to get out?”

DISARMED--- A BILLIONAIRE ROMANCE NOVEL

DISARMED--- A BILLIONAIRE ROMANCE NOVEL

ADRIAN’S POV I couldn’t focus. The words on the screen blurred together, my eyes skimming without absorbing anything. There was a dull pressure behind my eyes—not quite pain, just… weight. Like something had been fucking sitting there since last night and refused to move. A knock broke the silence. “Come in,” I said, not looking up. Daniel stood just inside the office, one hand still on the door like he hadn’t committed to being here. He didn’t smile right away. That alone made my stomach tighten.

Daddies And Their Naughty Angel

Daddies And Their Naughty Angel

I should have stayed at home waiting for him to return from work like the good girl he’d asked me to be. Then the second figure stepped through the door. Everything stopped. My thoughts. My tears. My heartbeat. All of it — suspended in a single, airless moment of pure, physical horror. Daniel. He walked in beside Vincent like a second shadow. Dark hair. Grey eyes. A burn scar running along his jaw — ragged, angry red — the only proof that the explosion had touched him at all. He moved with that familiar, fluid grace that I recognized in my nightmares. His eyes found mine.

Hey! I've been reading the novel so far, and finished 50% of it and I'm loving it so much. You might consider changing Angle’s look on the cover to match her look in the novel cause I kept imagining her with black hair and blue eyes all along, which would help even future readers.

Frequently Asked Questions

I picked up 'Daniel Martin' on a whim after spotting it in a dusty corner of a secondhand bookstore. At first glance, it seemed like just another literary novel, but John Fowles has this way of weaving introspection into every page that makes it feel deeply personal. The protagonist, Daniel Martin, is a screenwriter grappling with middle age, nostalgia, and artistic integrity—themes that resonated with me more than I expected. Fowles' prose is dense but rewarding; he digs into memory and identity like an archaeologist uncovering layers of self-deception. It’s not a fast-paced book, but if you savor sentences that make you pause and stare at the wall for five minutes, this is gold.

What surprised me was how contemporary it felt despite being published in the 1970s. The way Fowles critiques Hollywood’s commercialism and the tension between 'high art' and popular culture could’ve been written yesterday. Some chapters drag (fair warning), but the payoff—especially Daniel’s reckoning with his past—is worth the slow burn. I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys character studies with philosophical undertones, like Iris Murdoch’s work or later Saul Bellow.
