“It’s one less horrible human being on the planet if you ask me, and there’s nothing wrong with that!” Danny leaned back in his chair like he’d been hit. All of the anger that had heated his features vanished and she had no idea why. He nodded curtly to Darrell and they all watched him walk to the door and mysteriously knock on it.

Danny stood up immediately and I could see that he felt intimidated and angry at Amar's presence. What the hell is Amar doing here of all time? Must he always come into whatever makes me happy? Danny makes me happy and I am just about to accept his proposal but Amar is here to spoil everything. A proposal I didn't get from him. I anticipated it but it never came. Why does his visit have to be now? I asked myself "Who the hell is this?" Danny questioned with an angry look on his face as he pocketed the box. "Who the hell are you too?" Amar retorted back.

I just want everybody out of my apt so that I can get a ten-minute nap and then get ready for work. "Yeah, sorry, Mary, but I am not taking on this man again. Come on, guys, let's go. Tommy will have to take care of himself. I am very sorry Tommy, but even though you are leader you fuck up," Danny says. Tommy is swearing and shouting. You said you would come back, but I almost watched you die, idiot!” He shoved me away scowling, suddenly acting like he wasn’t begging me to escape with him a while back. I saw Phoenix tense up from the corner of my eye, I gave him a look. I will not let him attack my brother.

Then he whispered “Tell me you don’t feel anything for me, Mimi. Tell me, and I’ll walk away.” My chest squeezed so painfully I almost gasped. I couldn’t. I couldn’t lie. Not about this. But before I could answer Before either of us could take the next step The door swung open so violently the handle hit the wall. And Frank stood there. Tall. Angry. Eyes dark as night. His jaw clenched, his entire body coiled like he was ready to tear Danny apart with his bare hands. Danny spun around instantly. “What the hell is wrong with you?” Danny growled. “You can’t just barge in ”

KELLY On our way back to the hotel, I couldn't help but notice that Danny was still vibrating with barely contained rage. His hands were clenched into tight fists, his jaw was rigid, and he looked like he was using every ounce of self-control to keep from punching something. Or someone. "Does he have serious anger management issues?" I wondered, watching him out of the corner of my eye. Even I - the actual victim here - wasn't this worked up anymore. The adrenaline had worn off, and mostly I just felt exhausted.

Seeing that she had a red token, he knew he couldn't offend her. Meanwhile, Phantom was berating his subordinates in his office. "You bunch of trash! Why do I even need you guys?" His roar echoed across the room, scaring the guards at the door, let alone the people inside. An hour ago, six million dollars had gone missing from Ghosthorn's account. Of course, Phantom was fuming with rage. He couldn't calm himself and paced back and forth across the room, his anger evident in his expression. The veins on his forehead popped, and his gaze was terrifying, as were his roars.

Danny questioned in anger. "He doesn't belong here!" Bennett snarled. "That's bull shit and we both know it," Danny said while shaking his head. “No, it’s not. You’re lucky that I even let the little bastards come here to see you,” Bennett snapped back. I watched as Danny turned fire-red with anger. I turned away, not wanting to watch the pathetic verbal argument when I knew the outcome already. I'm sure I was about to have to leave.

My voice sounded shyer than I’d ever heard it. “Please to meet you, Evelyn. What is you code name?” Aaron’s smile never fell from his face. “Phantom.” “Oh damn, that’s awesome. They call me Arrow.” I let go of Aaron’s hand and returned the smile. “Pleasure to meet you, Arrow.” That day was the first day in my life that I felt a sense of hope. The van hit another pothole, jerking me off of Aaron and out of the memory. Anger began to boil inside me. How could Kade do this to me? I understood that there were repercussions to my actions, but this seemed sadistic. Then again, I was dealing with the head of the Mafia and my demented stepfather who went by the name Butcher.
