As soon as I met their foyer, I pulled the handle and gently swung the massive door open. I was greeted by Danny whose dirty-blonde hair was disheveled, and an apparent swollen bruise plastered on his left cheek. The side of his lips had a small cut, as the blood began to peek through it. His blue eyes were narrowed, rigid, and cold as if anger was starting to build up behind them. He gave me a stoic face, clenching his sharp jaws and his body seemed tense. What the hell happened?

Victor forced himself upright, clutching his nose as he shouted, “Leonardo, follow Rachel’s orders!” “Yes, Donna.” Leonardo’s response came quicker than I expected. With that, I hung up and tossed the phone back beside Victor. He lowered his hand. Blood dripped from his nose, staining the front of his shirt. “Rachel, I know you’re angry. Just take that punch as my apology.” He smiled faintly. “We have a lifetime ahead of us. If you want to punch me once a day to vent, that’s fine with me as well.” I ignored him and held out my hand. “Car keys.”

“You are unbelievable.” Luca shrugged. “Just be done with her. This version of you disgusts me. Besides, she looks edible. I would not mind a taste myself.” That was it. Dante exploded. He shot up from his chair, rushed the table, and slammed his fist into Luca’s face with all the rage he had been holding back. “How fucking dare you?” Dante roared. “Have you completely lost your mind, Luca?”

“I’m glad I got one.” “Good for you.” Danny smirks, leaning back in the tub, enjoying the warm water as it soothes his muscles. Tomorrow is going to be a long day. "See you in the afterlife, Mary. In hell, maybe." He lets out a quiet laugh, his lips curving into a smirk. But his eyes remain empty. Exhausted. "Loving someone is really hard."

Considering Danny was present and his condition, I shook my head and replied softly, "No, let's eat." With that, I sat back down and continued eating in silence. After the meal, he glanced at me. "Are you angry that I didn't let you see him off?" "I've already told you, I'm not angry." "If you're not angry, then why are you not talking?" "I don't have anything to say. Why would anyone keep talking for no reason?" He scoffed, "He personally insulted you, and you're not angry with him. Are you angry with me just because I didn't let you see him off?"

But before he could respond, Danzo ended the call, cutting him off completely, a triumphant smirk lingering on his face. He slipped the phone into his pocket, satisfied, as if he’d just completed some minor errand. I felt a rush of anger, an indignation rising up from deep inside me. I couldn’t hold it in anymore. “Why are you doing this?” I demanded, my voice shaky but fierce. My arm throbbed from the cut, but the pain was nothing compared to the fire of my anger. “What is this all for? Hurting me, playing these games—it’s sick.”

David voice was now laced with venom and I sent him a glare before masking on a blank expression. "Oh come on, she willingly." Joey whined "Alex is never going to-" "It's not like we're going to feed off her! " Danny said with a smirk. "Shut the fuck up, Danny, she's not a toy to mess around with!" he spat . " What the hell? She's not a queen but a mere human blood bag" Danny infuriated him further whereas i watch it without any emotion. "You better take it back before I fucking beat the shit out of you!"

"Hahaha! You Wolf Pack bastards! Shocked, are you? "Terrified now? Weren't you so full of yourselves earlier, collecting tolls?!" "Come on! Get up and collect it now!!" Howard screamed himself hoarse, the veins bulging on his neck, but he didn't care one bit. He spun around and shouted at Danny, still frozen in a daze inside the cab. "Danny! Did you see that?! That flying Tyrant with wings just now! "That's the Boss's pet! So badass! Seriously so badass!!"

Transforming back to monstrosity, I howled as a go signal and we dashed forward, determine to win this battle. Dana leaped towards me and we both collided in the air before landing back to the surface in a split second. Our pack tried their best to push back our enemies as Gwen and Cayde ran ahead of us along with Enzo. As the light slowly travelled away from us, I looked over my shoulder, seeing Dana with a smirk on her face, one of her arms was partially shifted into a monstrous form. I gritted my teeth when I realized that she managed to scratch me on my shoulder. But that confirmed it, she was no hybrid but she was stronger than any of her underlings.
