“Sophia’s going to be a good girl now, right?” I gave a stiff nod. I wasn’t going to be able to beat three werewolves. The hands on my arms released and Danny pulled me into him, tracing his fingers over my temple. “Don’t worry my love, we will be able to undo all of those lies you’ve heard since you’ve been away.” I stiffened under his touch. I had no desire to be this close to him, but I also didn’t want to make him angry. “As soon as you’re feeling more like yourself, Jack and I have a whole weeks’ worth of plans, isn’t that right mate?”

Hope stirred within him—a spark he hadn’t felt in far too long. He glanced at Jaiyana. She was still bound, her lips sealed by Maximus’s enchantment, pendant glowing faintly as if begging to be unleashed. Every scream, every howl, every death around them twisted inside Danny, a sharp reminder of how complicit he had been. I did this. I let this happen. But I can fix it. Maximus and Mahisar were momentarily distracted by a surge in the battlefield—Kaelan and Tharion had cornered a demon lord, and their feral attacks demanded their attention. Danny’s eyes narrowed. This was his chance.

Anna's POV And just like Erica said, Danny came over with a box of pepperoni pizza and drinks. Danny was Erica's boyfriend, they had been dating for eight months and I think they were a perfect match. With his sandy blond hair, tanned skin, dimpled cheeks, sea-green eyes that seemed to glow from afar, and his infectious smile but he was shy and reserved yet somewhat easygoing. There was a certain glow of affection in his eyes whenever he looked at Erica. It was as if she held the stars within her own eyes while also lighting up the entire galaxy that is Danny Phantom.

“I’m sorry, baby. But like I said. Some other time.” I start collecting the plates as I hear him whispering at Arawn, “Do something.” “What should I do, Danny? I have to work as well.” Danny gasps, slumping in his chair as I get the plates into the kitchen. “You two are just so mean!” he shouts, making me jump. Suddenly, he sprints past me, and I hear a door bang close. Arawn groans, passing his hand over his face. “Well, must be the age, I guess.”

Ava deliberately said, “Oh, really? It might be too early, so she could be back later.” Danny ignored her, grabbed the pendulum clock from the bedside table, and looked at it. When he saw it was almost four o’clock, he became furious. He got up to put on his clothes. “Danny, what’s wrong? Did Mom make you a promise?” Ava paused and then deliberately said, “You’re not planning to go out to look for her, are you?”

"I won't run off." Almost like a spell he had casted, when the clock struck a day, Dylan woke up.

It was morning and Danny was ready for work. The time on his leather wristwatch read 7. 39 so he needed to hurry or else, Big Mike, his boss will have his head. Danny rushed out of his apartment to his bike parked outside. He put on his helmet and rode off. Just as he took the street road someone in one of the cars parked along the street opened his door, knocking him off his bike. Danny landed on his ass with a painful groan.

That I NEEDED to say no. “How long is a little while, Danny?” I asked after a minute of silence.. “Four weeks. Six weeks tops.” A thought suddenly occurred to me. “Is that why you didn’t mark me tonight?” Danny looked down, clearly ashamed. “I wanted to, Jenna. I did. Mason did too. It’s just… it’s not the right time. But it will be. Soon.” I closed my eyes and tried to think about things from his perspective.

Dana POV: She Confesses About Her Marriage To Alex As the elevator carries me back up, I hold the pocket watch by its chain, letting it dangle like a pendulum in front of my eyes. I love the way the gold catches the overhead light, swinging in slow, hypnotic arcs. Tick-tick-tick, like something alive. Like a baby. I still don’t know what it means. He said it's a compliment from The Club of Eight, but it feels more like an invitation to a party I had no intention of attending.

Again, I am accosted with images of his fingers playing with my folds delicately, and then striking my open core lightly, I shiver across his legs and shiver in the garage. “It seems none of these caught your attention, don’t be discouraged, there are more in the back.” I give him a hopeful smile, but what I am more hopeful about is the fact that he could be here and hopefully, he would blow off steam on my body. “Although, I don’t see him as someone who blows off his work just because a girl hovering around him went out with someone else.” Danny says as we walk into what I assume is the back. I roll my eyes, but it is true, I cannot ignore the fact that he takes his job seriously.
