The street was glittering from the beautiful Christmas decorations that adore every house and shop. It must feel nice to belong to one of those happy families behind closed doors, sharing laughter and the holiday spirit with people who love and genuinely care for you. But here I was roaming the street with the hope of getting something to eat, even a dry bread at this moment would taste like chicken fries. I was alone, hungry, and homeless. My name is Rebecca Sally and I am sixteen years old. I have been homeless for the past nine months. My story is quite a depressing one, it's not your regular story of beautiful girls and boys falling in love or peeps that were born with magical powers.

Mason held her hands and caused her to look at him. "Listen Ella, do not be scared, I won't hurt you I promise" Mason was not sure if he would have the courage to even do such. "Where do you leave?" Mason asked really curious to know but the girl didn't respond. He felt his heart breaking as she narrated the story to him.

Cindy asked Francine, worried. Francine stood silently, not wanting to answer her. "When I decided to help you, I thought her evil grandma didn't want her anymore and she was now homeless," Cindy said frightened. "She is homeless," Francine said. "I, too, have no one, but I don't want any trouble with the Alpha," Cindy said before walking away. "Cindy," I stopped her. "Please don't go," I begged her. She turned around, looking sad. "Please tell me why Alpha Pharaoh wants you dead," she said.

The situation was really tragic and she really wanted to kill herself but was too cowardly to do it The girl thought that at a difficult time like this she couldn't expect anyone to help her, she didn't even have an idea what to do so she wouldn't become a pathetic bum ,sleeping by the side of the road and starving. "This situation really makes me feel messed up!!” When she was feeling hopeless suddenly someone approached her and it turned out that it was a security guard who was fat and had an ugly face The security guard smiled mischievously then looked at Lenny passionately, as if ready to "eat" her. “The audacity of that girl.” Adrian threw his hands in the air. “God, can both of you stop ruining my moment? Anyway! I have the real news now.” I leaned forward. “Go on.” His grin turned wicked. “She’s currently in your estate.” I bolted upright. “What? What is she doing there?” Adrian wiggled his eyebrows. “Aha! Finally something you don’t know.” I glared. “Tell me.” “Well,” he said, walking like a proud peacock, “since she’s homeless... thanks to muah... she moved in with her mother.”

He did not want the other man so much as thinking about the girl, much less examining her body. “Have you done what I asked?” Brumeh asked. A smile without humor briefly crossed Jason’s face. “The girl is exactly what the report says she is. She lives with her older sister, Cythia and a younger brother in the hovels, neither of them are able to work. The sister has a facial defect, and the brother is still young enough to be in mandatory education. The parents are dead which is what forced them into the hovels in the first place. Money appear to be her primary motivator, for obvious reasons.”

She was in the foster system until she ran away and ran right into Hansen’s nefarious arms. Once I reach the end of the line, I turn on my cell phone and double-check her address. It doesn’t take me long to find her house. The house, like the neighborhood, is old and run down. Trash and urine litter the streets, along with graffiti. Homeless people loiter around the cracked sidewalks, looking lost and despondent.

Heir to one of the oldest families, the young general was the same age as Lord Felix and was poised to join the senate upon his grandfather's retirement.
