Jonathan is one lucky man. He better treat you right.” I laughed. “Or you will go all scary dad on him?” I asked, looking over at Jonathan who was giving me a strange look. Danny shrugged. “Maybe. I didn’t get to scare away your high school boyfriends, so I have time to make up for.”

“Elara!” My search is rudely interrupted when Hannah’s cloying voice comes from the screen again. “Do you want Damon to be your daddy?” she asks Danny, and from what it looks like, she seems to be in the hospital. “Yes!” Danny replies excitedly. “I want him to be my daddy. Can he really be my daddy, Mom?” “Of course he can,” she smiles, cupping his face. “Just do as I say, and soon enough, he’ll be your actual daddy in no time.”

Danny stared at her for a few moments vaguely, trying to regain his former mood, so that he was happy with her presence, preparing to remove the smell of that bastard from her. Danny sniffed loudly over the cell phone as Jane smiled sadly and leaned back on the bench. She was listening to the song as he heard Danny called out to her. Jane smirked as he saw a resemblance on Danny with his father, her first love.
