Barefoot in black slacks and a white button-up, he walked to the coffee table and dipped down to snatch up his phone as Nate and Elliott appeared behind him, joking with each other about their ill-fitting clothing. Eli’s stocky frame was less slender than Danny’s so the grey slacks and black button-up tugged on him. He held up a finger and I immediately stopped speaking. “There’s an emergency in the pack, we need to go back.
