The bodyguards stopped them from reaching over but the old lady invited them in for a conference instead. Daphne was getting cold feet, she never expected herself in such a spotlight. Her dream was to live her best life low-key, provide for her grandmother and get married to her long-term boyfriend which was Daniel. It all started fading when she had that one-night stand with Black and now she’s stepping into a whole new world. Her heart beats rapidly against the wall of her chest as she stepped into the spacious building bustling with workers. Old lady Williams would smile at her every second to calm her down.

’ Dark mussed, enjoying the tension inside the room. ‘You can’t blame me for fucking your woman. You are always out of the territory, seeking for that goddamn Daphne !’ Darius roared. "Fine," her grip loosened but then she looked at me, wickedness glinting in her eyes as her lips stretched into a broader, more deranged kind of smile, "on second thought I don't remember taking orders from you." Before I could process what was happening there was a sickening crack and thud. Ophelia broke Daphne's neck and threw her to the ground like she was nothing.
