DAPHNE'S POV My phone vibrated beside me, and I quickly picked it up. A message from an unknown number. I drew my brows and tapped on it. "Hi, Daphne, this is Thelma Zynn, from Willbed foundation." The message read. I abruptly sat up, trying to remember the name as I hadn't heard of it before. I remembered applying to volunteer in a foundation when I got back to Louisville, but Willbed wasn't part of it.

Despite everything, a part of me still hoped she was going to apologize. But her cold voice cut through the air. "Vance, you're the most malicious, petty man I've ever met. You've been groped by clients before because of your looks. You know what it's like. Are you seriously forcing Luca to go drink with that psycho woman and sell himself just to pay you back?"
