Callum grabbed a shard of broken glass plate in his hands, and shoved it into Konan’s mouth. Konan screamed out in pain, using the last of his strength to push Callum off him. Both men were breathing heavily from exhaustion. The whole room looked like a tornado had passed through it, plates were shattered everywhere, the windows were shattered, the table and shelves were broken, with the two wild beasts lying exhaustively on both sides of the room. Callum growled again as he crawled to his feet, Konan also crawled to his feet, and jumped forward, extending his claws and aiming for Callum’s head.

Forms blurred dance—draw, cut, sheath—bodies colliding controlled violence, each brush electric foreplay. Shoji rattled suddenly, splintering shadow-intrusion. Five figures burst ink-black—board rebels, faces twisted vendetta, tanto knives glinting malice under dojo lanterns. Leader snarled Japanese filth, blade arcing Kenji's throat. Time fractured slow-mo: his bokken snapped block, but flanking wolves lunged my blindside.

The ground trembled beneath our paws, and the air hummed with electricity. Niran’s laughter filled the air, a maddening sound that stoked the fire of our resolve. We couldn’t let him win – the fate of our world depended on it. With a final surge of energy, we launched a coordinated attack, each of us focusing our abilities on Niran. The combined force was overwhelming, and for a moment, it seemed like we might gain the upper hand. But Niran’s dark magic surged, and he unleashed a blast of energy that sent us flying backward.
