🌹 Damien 🌹 The underground safehouse was dimly lit, the harsh fluorescent lights flickering intermittently as the team settled into a rare moment of calm. The air was thick with exhaustion, the weight of their near-constant battle settling heavily on each member of the group. Damien leaned against a table, eyes closed, taking in the muffled sounds of distant gunfire and the steady hum of the bunker’s generators. It had been a long day—too long. The chaos of the mission still lingered in his mind, but for the first time in days, the team had found a brief window to breathe. They were alive. For now, that was enough.

He assumed its only purpose was to muffle the sound of people walking around on it, as it had no aesthetic appeal either. The door creaked as he opened, which he was grateful for. Being a light sleeper, he would easily be woken if anyone tried to enter his room. The run-down motel was not his preference, but he would put up with the sticky light switches, smoke-stained walls, and cheap mattress. It was his job. He did not take it lightly. If he did, he would die very quickly. The tiny cameras that littered the walkway were aimed both at the rooms and the parking lot. Matthew noticed them immediately as being foreign. He knew they were not there when he had checked in.

Orester whispered as he had to make another cake for a customer as he stood up. “What is that?” All the children gathered around him as he smirked looking at Myelin who wanted to take away her daughter. “People say that the west Island is consumed by some kind of dark soul that changed their people into something else. They are called…” Orester was saying but he was again cut off not by Myelin but by the noises of the people coming from the cost. “Dark Spades are here.” “We are under attack.” “Run for your lives.” “Dark Spades.” Orester mumbled to himself as Myelin grabbed the hand of name and ran away to find a shelter.

Then, with purpose, I tossed it into the trash can. The sharp, hollow clink of metal hitting the bottom echoed through the quiet night. The wind brushed against me, its chill settling over my skin. I looked out over the night view, where even the dimmest stars held a faint trace of light. Then, I turned and stepped back inside, closing the door behind me. In that moment, I felt a stillness I had never known. Everything in the past had finally fallen with the stars into endless darkness. And ahead of me, there lay countless possibilities that I could explore one by one.

I slammed my hands into the dirt and screamed. The crevice that opened this time swallowed half the valley. And everything went dark. Everything went black for what felt like forever. The ground under my hands was still shaking when the darkness finally lifted. Dust and dirt hung thick in the air like smoke after a fire. I coughed hard, tasting blood and earth, and pushed myself up on shaking arms. My scales burned across my chest and both arms now, silver and black and way too much. The crevice I'd ripped open stretched wide across the valley floor, a jagged scar that swallowed trees, wolves, and half the battlefield in one greedy bite.

I had enough to deal with right now, I don't need a love triangle mixed into it. Ruby finally came into the room a little while later holding the book and she had a really horrible look on her face. "What's wrong?" I asked. "I think I just found out how they made it into our Kingdom." She says. "Well, don't keep us in suspense. How?" Jackson asked. "The Land of Darkness is also called Hitch Hikers. They will piggyback off of a portal and follow people through without the people knowing." She says. And I looked at Jackson.

he doesn’t even understand what the girl’s shouting but she seems like a witch –chanting her evil spell “Don’t just stand! Fight!” he urges his team as the undead still multiplying like crazy “A –are you su –sure about this Alfonso? They outnumbered us!” cowardly hiding in the corner, some people did not help them and just settled themselves in the dark “Choose people! Fight them or die here? That’s the only thing that we can do” Alfonso shouted and the cowards still crept in the dark “wa –what’s this?” “Ahk!” it’s a great mistake to hid and cover up in the darkness because where there’s a dark the shadows/soul is more dominant

Xavier*** The winds howl around us, their mournful cries carrying the cold scent of decay, mingling with the sharp tang of ozone in the air. The meadow that once felt like home trembles beneath the weight of something dark, something ancient returning. The earth cracks beneath our feet, the soil splitting as if it, too, can feel the shadows coming. The abyss is back. But this time, it feels different—more alive, more potent. The very land seems to shrink from it, as though the darkness is consuming everything in its path.

King Ekmond touched the lad’s hands then touched his head, “Rise my son.” The young man combed his hair backwards with his hand then straightens up. “How’s your expenditure going Dylan?” King Ekmond asked with an expecting gaze. “Well Father,” Dylan assured, clasping his hands behind his back. “I have great news.” “Go on.” “I’ve gone up North and now I have found the dark systems conjuring darkness in the world.” “Then the voice of God has taken you on the right path.” “He never fails Father. My quest led me to know the Leader of the Drokan Empire Dorak Herra, a so-called leader of the Purifiers Creed, King Eric Levia and the evilest of them all, Ethan Roy the Dark Lord.”
