Daniel Prince’s tawny eyes skimmed her slowly and he shuffled another step closer, kicking her book aside. Positioned as he was, he completely blocked any possibility of escaping around him without some sort of physical contact. Even drunk as he still was, with the size difference between them, she didn’t bet much on her chances. Cringing, she waited, praying he’d fall or simply pass out again so she could make her escape.

He says as if there is a chance for me to switch places with my mother again. As long as the decision to take her place was made official by the council, there is no going back. But I bet there is nothing that is impossible for him to change. He is the powerful Prince Evan after all. I also don't want my mother to be the one in here, thirsty, hungry and waiting to die. Hopefully, she will one day find a way to escape her slave's Master since she is such a good warrior. "The only evil person I know is your so-called good mother! Sometimes the true devil is the one dressed in sheep's clothing." I say and his eyes literally glow with anger.

I leaned forward to hear more. "They claim they are dragon princes, and they rule the shifter world. Which is a world that exists in our world but another frequency. Only those that can tap onto that frequency can see into their world." he said, and I froze on the seat. The air conditioning was on, but I felt myself sweating. It was the same explanation as that banned book. Could they have read it too and created a fantasy in their heads?

At least if he couldn't help himself, helping her find a group would give him relief that they were people to watch her back. Drake fell silent as he thought of a better way. He was looking around the cell when his eyes fell on the book from before and an idea came to mind. “Hold on princess, If I remember correctly, I think there might be a ritual in that book that could help us identify dragon blood” he said as he got up and grabbed the book. “Really? That would be great. It would save us a lot of trouble” Elaina replied eagerly. If there was a better way, she was more than willing to give it a try.

You wouldn't want to skip such an advantage. As for now, Kyla keeps bombarding him with more questions. Damien, however, is glued to his laptop. I notice that he's back to his shell again when Prince is around. Just like when Drake popped up before him last time. That's strange. Prince hasn't even talked to him, but maybe his aura is already intimidating Damien. "I've got this covered in the previous project I worked on with Drake," Prince responds to Kyla's question. "You can get a lot from that. I think Drake put the book somewhere in his room." With that, Prince stands up.

I need to take my most trusted with me, the want to get to her is so overwhelming I am struggling to stop my Dragon from shifting right now. There were large leather-bound books, most of which looked shabby due to dust or old age. An old gold-bound book with foliage ornaments was located on the topmost bookshelf. It looked the thickest of all the books there. I was curious and looked at the contents. This book explains everything about witches, from rituals to how to fight with them. It was probably written by our predecessors. But some of the pages at the back talked about potions from plants as well as treatment steps using magic spells. I guess it's more similar to the rituals of white witches. I closed it and put it back on the shelf. Then I heard

"So sorry, you're so used to hearing your mother talk so much that you don't like the quiet, do you? Well, I'll keep you company as long as you wish. I wanted to take you around and show you off to everyone anyway." Damien nodded his head to the soldiers and servants as they passed and stole quick peeks at the new prince. When he came to the foyer, he found Teddy and Daniel sitting by the fireplace so he took a seat on the sofa beside his father. As Daniel ran his fingertips over Drago's soft baby hairs, Teddy said, "He sure is a handsome boy, Damien." "Yes, he certainly is. Isn't he?" Damien licked his bottom lip then pressed them both together as he snorted out a soft cry. Daniel squeezed

Two years have passed after Henzie gave birth to her first son, now Zee has also started to grow because her growth is very fast, exceeding vampire babies in general, but her growth will stop at a certain time.
