His armour was black as night, blood splattered across the silver wolf pelt draped over his shoulders. His gauntleted hand gripped a massive sword, its blade stained dark red. His gaze bore into mine – but in that memory, there was no confusion in me. Only anger. And love. And pain so deep it felt like drowning.

He looked incredibly handsome and dangerous at the same time. As my eyes locked with his they'd turned obsidian black with a streak of green, and his usual golden flashed through them like he was fighting his beast. His murderous gaze shifted back on Arnold, and just as a fearful thud pounded in my chest, I knew something bad was going to happen.

But I raised my head, pushing away the pain of my weakened arms, my torn flesh, and I raised my head to the heavens. It was so dark. A sharp contrast to the light of the waters, the midnight sky like black ink spilled, and I could barely see anything, when suddenly, a bright golden light shone, almost like it lit into existence. It seemed to hum, almost like the rumble of waves, the more I stared at the golden light the more I felt like I was being lifted. I dropped my eyes, and I felt my heart skip when I saw the two wolves before me. One was pitch white, shining silver under the light, and his eyes, a bright crimson. I needed no one to tell me that it was King Ryken.
