I get startled by the sudden voice so I look at the source of the voice and find a very beautiful as well as well-built woman standing on the doorstep. "Umm, who are you?" I ask with a gulp. "My name is Nicole Leigh and the Gamma of this pack." She replies walking inside the room. "What's this pack name and why am I brought here?" I ask out of curiosity. "This is the Forbidden Rogue Pack and I am sorry for kidnapping you, Luna Queen." I hold back a gasp when she slightly bows her head. "Why are you calling me Luna Queen?" I inquire because no one ever called me by this title then why she is doing it.

Memory. Every painting watched me pass. I should’ve left. Instead, I followed the sound of faint footsteps behind me. “Running from ghosts again, little wife?” The voice froze me. Selene. She stepped out from the shadows, the same cold beauty that had once smiled while I was dying. Her black gown shimmered like oil, and her eyes were silver tonight, not steel. Unnatural. Hungry. “You look better,” she said with a smile that wasn’t one. “Poison suits you.”

But as the doors closed on the image of Ophelia standing alone in the dark bar, Selene knew one thing for certain. She was the Queen of this house, and she would fight through the wine, the lies, and the fire to keep her King.
