The Triplet's Sin
By now, I was used to attention, but it still thrilled me in a strange, electric way.
Then I saw the triplets. All three. They stood together like shadows of power and perfection, clad in black suits with golden bow ties. My chest tightened. Anger flared immediately, sharp and hot. How did we end up eating the same colour. Ugh.
Before I could stew too long, Fenrir approached, looking dashing in a white suit that perfectly contrasted the triplets’ darkness.
“You both look amazing,” he said.
He offered his hand. Elera nodded eagerly. “Go ahead, Calla,” she whispered.
