Dave's Sister Love Is Blind の小説・ストーリー

"What do you mean? Mother was never blind." Davina pressed two fingers from each hand to the sides of her head. "No, she was never blind, but I think that you're daft now. Like, she is seeing a man!" She whispered loudly. "Seeing a man?" I asked, realisation slowly creeping into me. "What do you—" "My suster, ons ma het 'n kêrel." She whispered. My mother had a boyfriend? I halted in my tracks and turned to my sister. "You're lying! You've always been good at it. And why would you tell me such a thing?"

Sammy asked and a flash of hurt surged through Sky's eyes darkening the sparkle that was once there. "Yes, he does. But then he pushed me away and hurt me." Sky seethed, clenching his teeth together and turning away from his brother's gaze. "That was why you slapped him that night?" "Yes." "Yet you still love him." "I do. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't stop. It's like a curse, something that I have been doomed to live with." Sky shamelessly cried into his baby brother's embrace, it felt good to share. To not be judged. "But he doesn't care about me, he left me. He went and dated all those girls. Did you know that one time he called me and was apologizing to me? I was going to fo

he added, referring to the perfume. "Yeah, it does," April agreed, "but it was given to you by Kelsey, so once again, ewwww." "Why is she coming here anyway? She never agrees to come into the house. She doesn't even like us," April asked, dumping herself on Iver's bed. "Where did you get that from?" Iver asked. "It's obvious, you are the only one who is oblivious. Love can indeed be blind," April answered. "Wait till you are in love," Iver said.

I still had a sliver of vision in my left eye, but this remaining sliver merely added to my misery. Picking up a pencil, I attempted to sketch something. However, every stroke was just painfully difficult with my blurred vision. Just then, a familiar voice sounded from outside the door. "Julia, are you okay? I heard you were hospitalized due to an injury." I froze in shock, and the shaky hand I had been sketching with halted, too. The voice was unmistakably Leah's. I jerked my head in the direction of the door. Despite my blurry vision, I could still make out that the person standing before me was Leah—but wasn't she supposed to be dead?

“I’m Dave. I run the soundboard when Rebekah lets me.” Reagan reached around Trey to shake Dave’s hand. She had heard about Sinners’ bus accident and that their soundboard operator had been paralyzed in the crash. She hadn’t known that he was still part of the crew. “You better be glad Reb didn’t hear that,” Eric said. Dave grinned and ran a hand through his sandy blond hair. “Rebekah is my younger sister. Also one of Sinners’ soundboard operators.” “And my wife,” Eric said. “She’s a little kinky. Just to warn you.”

My voice broke as it all poured out, the depth of my need, the humiliation, the blinding pain of seeing her choose him, the pure pain of knowing she was letting Chris fuck her while she denied me. “I was in love with my dead girlfriend, since I wanted to die with her it’s self-explanatory, when other girls refused to go out with me, saying I was the assistant of a Mafia queen, my job was dangerous and my days were numbered, she was the only one who didn’t think all that…” Dave muttered. “I still love her and I miss her… I don’t know what the hell to tell to her protective brother, but I will look for him after all this and settle some scores with him or just avoid him all together,”

"She doesn't seem to need you and sees you as much as you think. I would give you some advice ... Don't be fooled!" Bianca's eyes widened instantly, panic flashing across her face. "Dave," she whimpered, tugging at his arm. "Please don't listen to her. She's trying to turn you against me. Please, just tell her to go. Let her leave this place. She's just too jealous to see her own sister happy." Her voice broke as tears streamed down her cheeks again. My sister is really this talented?! Wow.. "I love you, Dave. Don't let what this mouth breather said make you think otherwise. You.. you know I do."

Dave stopped before me and held my face, pressing his lips tightly against mine and kissing me. For a second, I did not know what to do, or how to react. But remembering that Becky was around, I pushed him away with all my might. “Are you crazy, brother?“ I turned to look at Becky, who had her eyes wide open in disbelief. “Becky, it is not what you think…” Dave lifted his hand to my mouth and looked at Becky. “It was not a misunderstanding. She is the person that I love. Are you going to drown her once again?“

As we sipped the smooth wine, the conversation drifted naturally towards family. Brian leaned back in his chair, a touch of vulnerability replacing his usual easy smile. "Family's important to me," he began, his voice softer than you'd heard all night. He spoke fondly of his sister, their bond evident in the way his voice softened when he mentioned her name. "My mom, she's a real diamond in the rough," he said, his eyes twinkling with affection. A shadow flickered across his face as he mentioned his father. "We lost him to leukaemia a few years back. He was a pillar of the community and owned Spring Island. They even have a creepy nickname for it – 'The Dead Island' some folks call it." A
