I lean against the door for a few seconds, trying to breathe. I can’t. I start pacing between the bookshelves, hands in my hair. My mind won’t stop. The more I think, the more questions rise. How much did Harvey know? How much did he choose not to tell me? How much did he participate, even without knowing all the details? I’m so distracted that I don’t even hear the door open. I only feel it when he steps inside. Harvey closes the door calmly. The click of the lock is quiet, but in the silence of the library, it sounds far too loud. He stands there for a few seconds, watching me. Then he takes a few steps into the room.

Chapter Thirty Three H: Hey Sarah, it's Harley, Harry gave me your number, if you’re free this evening, do you want to go for a drink? I wasn’t expecting a reply right away, but only about 2 minutes after I sent the text, I got a message back. S: Hey honey, are you ok? I was worried about you after last night. Well, I’m meant to be going for a drink with Harry tonight, but maybe you and Alexander would like to come along? :)

I admit Harvey does have a lot of connections, but every time he talks like this I am still surprised. "No need, honey. I love working with David." Ah, David was a friend of mine since college and now he's the CEO of publishing for my book. "All right. Are you going for a walk? You need to freshen up your mind." Harvey's advice is always the best. There are many places I would like to visit, including a recently opened amusement park. I had to get Sean out of my head so I could write. "Amusement park? Do you mind?" I asked.

“No, that’s not it” David leaned back in his chair, unfazed. “Right. Because you always look like you’re plotting someone’s murder before noon.” I didn’t respond. Instead, I tapped a pen against my desk, my mind replaying the conversation with Harper. ‘I don’t even like men’. A slow, humorless smirk formed. Liar. David sighed dramatically. “This isn’t about Howard’s latest scheme, is it?” Silence. David shook his head. Knew it. “Is this about a certain fiery brunette who—let me guess—won’t answer your calls?”

"I..." "Cole?" His words were cut off by a familiar voice, and I turned to see Harvey Parker walking into the library. He was dressed more casually than I had ever seen him, not wearing a suit or any formal attire, just jeans and a white shirt. That caught me a bit by surprise. He walked over to the table and looked at the three of us, then Cole. "I can sense your energy, but I guess I must just be imagining it." Cole was not speaking, his eyes instead lowered to the table as he continued to rest on his elbows. "What is everyone doing?"

"Rest completely assured that my claws will not feed him any garbage food that will cause an adverse effect on his work tomorrow. Our plates will hold nothing but clean, healthy valley greens and lean meat, all right?" "Do whatever your beasts want," David mutters, his face turning completely dark like a thundercloud. He wheels his heavy combat boots around and storms down the path toward his wagon. "That fellow possesses a truly strange spirit today," Harvey grumbles, staring at David's retreating back with a totally perplexed expression. "Did your lines have a prior blood-arrangement for the afternoon?" I ask, watching the dust fly from David's boots. "Yeah, his mouth wanted to gather the

David sneered after seeing Tara’s expression, “What? B*tch, only now you are afraid? I’m warning you…” Slap! Harvey had already picked up the ashtray on the table and instantly smashed it on his face before he could finish speaking. “Why is there so much nonsense? Can’t you be quiet? Keep quiet.” Harvey looked disgusted. “You!” David held his bleeding forehead and trembled all over. “You’re finished! You’re certainly dead today! “Don’t leave if you have the guts!” Harvey said indifferently, “When did I say I was leaving? I’m still waiting for you to sell this place to me.”

David realized he'd been given a golden bullet. "Where does she... " Another memory popped into his head. "Now go", he ordered. David disappeared. Professor Harvey turned back into Harver Morvacain, who chuckled. He could kill two birds with one stone. If Darcy died, Luther would unleash the hellhound in him. And Harvey would have nothing else to live for and use his powers to help them win the war. Processor Harvey's POV "You need to go, sir. The Lioness are wiping out all Demons. “We know you’re working with Damian.” Harvey’s hands trembled as he set down the glass. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I grabbed him by the collar, pulling him to his feet. “Don’t play dumb, Harvey. We’ve seen the files.” Harvey’s eyes darted between us, panic setting in. “Okay, okay! Damian approached me a few months ago. He wanted information about your company, your board. He said he’d pay me double what I was making if I helped him.”

Harvey wore a smug smile upon his face, as if he were one step ahead of everyone else in this room, a brighter genius amongst genius, like he would always call himself. His gaze rested on Darius with amusement and smirk firmly set on his lips as if he were questioning "what a pleasant surprise, right?" He was dressed smartly in a white shirt and blue blazer that contrasted perfectly to the jet black cap he had above his thick mug of yellow hair. Darius could almost puke from seeing him. "Well damn, it is you." Harvey approached him with a friendly smile. Even though he had been aware of him much Darius hated him and his mother, the male still liked to act like they were the closest brothers
