David Robinson Book Novels & Stories

I watch him smile at some pages or gasp at something in the book. I’ve taken note of the books he likes. He especially likes the limited edition novel by Blue Bird titled ‘Rock Hard’. It’s a BL novel, David could only get his hands on because he adores the author, and Sal pulled some strings to get him a book that hasn’t even been released to the public eye yet. On some nights, David would sit crouched under the night lamp, sketching away. On some nights, he’d sleep off holding on to my hand but wake up and rush out of the room before I ‘woke up and caught him’.

I stared at him. He sat there in his wheelchair, blanket over his legs, oxygen tank beside him, looking like death had already put in a down payment. And he was smiling. Confident. Like he knew something I didn't. Something was up. I looked back at the hallway where Davidson had disappeared. Then back at my father. "What were you two talking about?" Robin looked ahead, then back at me. "That's a surprise." He smiled again. "You'll see." "I don't understand."

Father David is Still Alive The deafening sound of the alarm filled the bunker, followed by the sound of steel doors closing, locking David and his team inside. Robert, The Architect, smiled coldly, enjoying the panic that was beginning to engulf the room. “A good trap, Robert,” David growled, his weapon still aimed at Robert. “But this won’t stop me.” “Oh, it will stop you, David,” Robert countered, his hand now moving slowly towards a hidden control panel. “I’ve been waiting for you. Every step you’ve taken, every decision you’ve made, has been anticipated.”

Annabelle sat across from her father, her posture straight but relaxed. David Robinson was not a man who summoned people for idle chit-chat, least of all his children. His preference for solitude was well-known in the family, and his rare invitations usually meant something serious was at play. Annabelle knew her father's disdain for James had grown in great number after the Winters contract debacle, but even that didn’t explain why she was here tonight, alone with him in the study, at such an odd hour. There was something about her father’s posture tonight that struck her as different.

Robin's eyes widen her jaw clenches and drops. "What the hell are you talking about?" Robin uses a tone of pure innocence, who am I to judge her after all? The only person who could get her that book was David And he was sure Lorraine's relationship with David had not been good enough for him to let her have one of his finest collections. David's private library had no specific subject, it had collections that cut through almost all walks of life: supernatural, physics, metaphysics, mind, power, fictional novels, sci-fi books.
