“This time, try focusing on just one person. Someone familiar.” She nodded, though she still looked frustrated. Closing her eyes, she reached out with her mind again. I watched as her lips parted slightly, her body tensing with the effort. Suddenly, one of the pack’s warriors, a young wolf named Jared, appeared in the doorway. His eyes were wide with confusion as he walked toward us as if pulled by some unseen force. Two days later, Dante finally woke up early in the morning. He opened his eyes to see Camellia slumped over by his bedside, having fallen asleep from exhaustion. Juliet’s POV Walking towards the stage, I took a deep breath. The shining bulbs, the music playing, the chattering, and the glamour surrounded me. The eyes of lustful men traced my every move, their gazes running over my body. “Come on, Juliet!” Daphne's excited call snapped me out of my trance. I sighed, grabbing the pole as I lifted my weight, swirling around it, my body syncing with the music. The men approached the stage, tossing money at me. Seeing the pile of cash, I pushed harder, stripping more, following the beats. One hand guided me on the pole while the other traced down my exposed legs, moving rhythmically. I bit my tongue, twisting and turning, doing everything I could.

Liz laid in bed next to Elena. They were both exhausted from the day and the nightly celebrations. Clearing her mind, Liz closed her eyes and allowed the day to slip away into her dreams. She was back on a field full of soft green grass and wildflowers. Butterflies danced in the air, and bees moved studiously from flower to flower collecting nectar. The occasional dragonfly darted by.
