Kriss replied, rolling his eyes, not denying he stole it. The brothers smirked and Zadicus said, “Tristan, tell him.” Zadicus said. At this point, it gained everyone’s attention because when Tristan shares words of wisdom, they hold immense power in them. “Here you go.” Tristan smirked, giving Kriss' book back, resting his hand on the back of his head, closing his eyes. Ready to flex his flairs. “Page 157, paragraph one, ‘Those who desired malevolence left my path for fathoming devastation for I, who guided you on righteous must halt before my wrath.’”

Demitri glared at her. "If you're not stressing, then you can easily take a break and read a book." Becca said with a huge smirk. Demitri's eyes narrowed, then he got up and walked to the non-fiction part of the library. He picked up a history book about the cold war and sat back down. He opened the book and stuck his tongue out at Becca.

Blood spills out from open wound. I take a step back as Valdis begins to stand again. He sheds his black armor, replacing it with deep ruby scales.  His scales, are cold as ice, blaze bright as an ever-flickering flame. His chest holds a hearth of burning fire, although in his remorseless heart lays rime much like the depths of his eyes. He lets out a huff of steamy air from his nose, staring on at me. The officials in the room gather in the back. Waves of fear roll from them in large bouts. My father stares into my eyes sending a large bout of dominance soaring through the room. The intense pressure has me gasping for air but I fight the urge to submit to him by releasing my own dominance.

Tyson smirked. “31 Days.” Chance affirmed. “Which Day was today”? He asked. “Ninth.” Dr. Tyson added. “Twenty two days to go, man I am gonna savor these.” with a devilish smirk, Chance declared.

A prayer of gratitude, for this second chance at life… and these two kind souls who chose to help me when I needed it most. But this time, I won’t waste it. I will make them pay. I’ll drag them into the same darkness they buried Dredea in one by one. I’ll tear them apart until there’s nothing left. Just wait. You’ll regret the day you betrayed me. Dim candlelight licked the corners of the room, throwing shadows that moved like they were alive. I tried to move, but I couldn’t. Then I felt it. That weight, that stretch, that invasion. Wrath was already inside me. Deep, thick, moving. “Ah—!” My voice cracked, hoarse from earlier screams. I reached weakly for something—anything—but my wrists were pinned above my head, gripped tight in one of Wrath’s massive hands. He didn’t even look down at me. Just kept thrusting, slow, heavy, endless.

Chapter 25: The Day of Reckoning The first light of dawn crept over the horizon, casting a cold, grayish hue over the battlefield. The once peaceful terrain was now a chaotic battleground, a stark reminder of the tension and stakes of the day. Rayka and Sylvester stood side by side, their expressions grim and resolute as they prepared for the decisive confrontation that would determine the fate of their packs.

I immediately ran back to the apartment to find that the black hounds had surrounded Richard. I felt my body tense up as the black hounds emerged, their eyes filled with rage. They were trained werewolf assassins, and they outnumbered us two to five. My husband and I fought hard, but it wasn't enough. Richard mind-talked to me, telling me to take our daughter Daciana and run. I refused at first, continuing to fight alongside him. But one of the hounds pounced on him, pushing him aside and dashing toward the back door where the car was parked. I ran after him, fighting with all my might, but I was already severely injured and getting weaker.
